Everyone that has a subscription:

We need you to go to the Frog God Games website and create an account, so we can load the files direct to your account, under your Files tab.

To create an account, go here.

After the account is created, give us a support message, so we know to load the files.

We will be loading files for existing account holders this weekend, and continue until finished. So get the accounts created, so we can fill them. :-)

We're up to chapter 4 on each subscription, and chapter 5 is in edit (for both). In addition, Bill Webb is going to write an additional chapter, so there will be 7 total in the RA subscription!

Skeeter

Thanks, Skeeter.

Do we need to do anything if we already have an account?

Pathfinder Rules Conversion, Frog God Games

I do need to know the email address you used to originally get the files, and the username on the FGG website.

Everyone will have to have just a little more patience, this could potentially take a while to get names matched up. Im working on it tonight to start off.

No worries. Thanks.

AOK, Skeeter. Glad to hear it is being worked on!

We're in the process. It expedites if people put in a Support Request. that emails directly to the webmaster.

Plus, no one in FGG is doing this full time. We can't be as awesome as the Paizo forums here. We're doing the best we can, but it's slow going.

chopswil-This is not directed at you, just clarifying for others in the same post.

FYI,

I already put this in a Frog Support Request

All! Subscription emails just went out to the email addresses we have on file. Please look for those emails in your spam or junk folders, if they do not show up in your regular inbox.

If you do not receive an email, and you have a subscription, please respond to this email address fggsubscriptionhelp@gmail.com with your name, the subscription you purchased, the email address you used to purchase the subscription, where you purchased the subscription (form a Kickstarter, from the Frog God Games website, etc), and what your Frog God Games username is. This way we can match up different email addresses.

Thank you for your help, we're sorry this has taken so long and been such a hassle, but with your help, we'll get everything squared away soon!

Frog God Games

Ok, sending my info again.

Works really smoothly for me. I like the fact there's no zipping - I just click on the file and the PDF opens on my iPad in a flash.

Nice work, Skeeter and Co. Thanks.

Urk!

Just saw this now. I'll have to do this tonight when I get home from the office... I have a subscription to both (RA and CD), and haven't seen anything of either since #3.

Since you said you were not going to help me and since I already sent an e-mail with my information but never received a response I assume sending another e-mail will make no difference. Just go ahead and keep my money. You can also keep the hardback. I doubt I would have received it anyway.

The chance of them not sending out the hardcovers is negligible. Failing to notice emails is a very different thing from failing to deliver a promised product.

He posted under his kickstarter thread that he could help me but he wouldn't help. I sent the required information and nothing. I am not going to beg to get something I already paid for. FGG can keep my money. I want nothing to do with them.

Sure. It appears they don't have the time and staff to provide the level of support you're looking for - going elsewhere seems a good way to save everyone grief, so that seems like a good plan. Nonetheless, failure to answer emails doesn't imply that a company that has delivered several books via kick starter, dozens of subscription items and stacks of one off books is going to suddenly stop shipping things they've promised.

I have been asking since september but have never received a response. I just don't think getting what I paid for is asking for too much. I even did what they asked people to do to get the pdf's but still nothing.

It's not asking too much and I'm sure they'll be disappointed they missed your email. (Although, as I understood things, both subscriptions were to have half a dozen instalments by December with a hardcover compilation in early 2015, so I'm not sure they're late at this stage. Nonetheless, the subs have clearly been a source of frustration for them).

Steve thanks for talking. You seem like a very nice guy.

No worries. I can understand the frustration (you should hear some of the saga surrounding the Appendix N Adventures kickstarter for DCC by Brave Halfling Publishing, or John Adams). That's gone on so long I just don't care any more - I won't even be reading them when they finally arrive, I suspect. :/

Its just I've seen the Frog God Games crew bend over backwards to help me (and others) out to make things happen. I find it amazing they can make such high quality books basically in their spare time. No doubt as they get bigger, admin stuff will become more streamlined - the new forums should help with that, even though the changeover appears to be throwing up some challenges.

What email address are you sending to? I just took over taking care of this last week form our regular webstaff. send me an email with the info to fggsubscriptionhelp@gmail.com and we'll try and get it sorted out.

Despite your posts bashing the company, over the course of SEVERAL posts, we do want you to get what you paid for. I would like to make this right for you, if that is possible.

<sigh, going to regret this...>

Where exactly did I say I wouldn't help? Refresh my memory. I'm not syaing I didn't say it, I'm just curious what you did to make me say that, if, in fact, I did, and you're not taking something out of context.

I sent an email to the support message option and didn't get a response either and then I saw people posting comments on RA4 and CD4 and was wondering what happened to me, but I didn’t panic/ragepost.

And then (just like Hollywood movie magic) I saw Skeeters updated contact post.

I promptly sent him an email last night listing my KS, pre-orders and additional orders I got through FGG games.
Got an email from him at 6 in the morning asking if it was PF or SW, I responded and then ALL MY FILES WERE ADDED to my FGG website account within the hour, not just my RA sub.

Keep in mind that they are a small company and to actually take their explanation of how they are doing things sincerely and that they are not running a shell game or a scam. Give it a try first without playing the victim game or posting melodrama.

I will second that experience here also! I got all by subscription files also today.

@PathfinderFan64, I know you have had a bad experience, but these guys have bent over backwards for me a couple of times in the past. Just realize it is some folk doing this after they get home from their real job. The quality of FGG is awesome, so hopefully, you will get your stuff soon, enjoy what you have received and will get more.

My Two Cents,

Full disclosure
I am not employed or otherwise paid by FGG to represent them in any matter. Nor do I live in Texas anymore, which sucks, cause, I can't go to the North Texas RPG con, or BGG con. Oh well, will retire there in about 11 years or so.

Cheers,
James

I got nearly all mine today, Skeeter Green is looking into the other files that are missing.

In my case I think I confused Chris with my original request because he had no records of my purchases because they were all directly through Kickstarter or direct via paypal to Krista/Bill yet he probably saw records of me buying Rappan Athuk swag through the old site but not any of the books that way. So I gave Skeeter an exact list of what I should have and where I purchased them and forwarded him one of my password emails. I'd hang onto those until you get everything centralized under your new account.

They will work with you to get your files centralized on the new site. It might take a few days/weeks/emails but they want to make it work well for us. I'm glad they are willing to go through the pains of doing this for each of us as like I mentioned, it's not really cut&dry exactly what everybody has because of all the ways they let us purchase stuff over the years.

I should probably get a list together of the rest of my pdf's. It is around 8-10 from 3-4 buys so it will take some digging to find them all. That doesn't include all the Razor Coast ones.

Publisher, Frog God Games

Yup--not sure what you are referring to--we do try to help as best we can. I am not sure which emails you are referring to--but I answer them all; or Krista does.

Publisher, Frog God Games

ps--my main email is necromancergames@yahoo.com

let's see if we can help you.

The only thing negative I said was that I would not join your kickstarter because you couldn't be bothered to update the backers about the subscription. The "several" posts were a response to you. I have noticed several other posts saying the same thing I said but you did not act the way you did to me about their posts. This was on your site. The way you have acted to me has made me decide to never buy another of your products. People I know will not buy them either. Shops I deal with will not buy them. I should point out that I own all of your products except Razor Coast and in the past I have encouraged others to buy your products along with speaking highly of your company. Like I said earlier just keep the pdf's. I don't want them anymore. Problem solved.

Whatever. If you don't want to be adult enough to work this out, now that I have gone through and supplied approx 150 people with their files over the last 2 days, that's fine with me.

I have admitted we screwed this up. But I'm making things right. I'm not customer service; there is plenty I would love to say right now but won't. I do fix things, and I've been doing things that ARE NOT MY JOB, so the fans that have waited can get their items.

Don't buy our stuff. That's your right.

Dear Bill and Skeeter,

Skeeter - I haven't yet fully followed directions, but should do so tonight.

Adventure Path Charter Subscriber

I just saw this; I'm going to try to set things up later today.

I, for one, am quite pleased with the effort being made by the Frog God people to make sure everyone is getting what they paid for - their level of communication with their fan base in that regard is exemplary.

Pathfinder Rules Conversion, Frog God Games

Appreciate the kind words guys. Sometimes I lose my sh** when the company gets put in a bad light.

Just doing what we can to make sure you guys are loving your games!

Sasha- thanks darlin'!

justmebd- Sir, you are awesome!

Dave- no prob, Ill be here lol

Alzrius- no rush, ill be here all week :-)

I agree, FGG level of communication is way up there especially over the last three months!

Pathfinder Rules Conversion, Frog God Games

I don't want to say anything, but did you know there is a chicken on your shoulder????

:-)

We try, I am sure we fail at times, but we do try.

The Frog God guys put out an amazing product, and in my experience their customer service is excellent. I'm frequently astonished at how awesome they can be, even putting aside the fact that it's a mere handful of guys that are doing all of this in their spare time.

Oh that's Bezebel. She can get rather chatty at times.

Speaking of chickens, what can you tell me about Splinters of Faith? I am considering picking up the pdf's during the sale.

I really liked the adventures (though my players all died in number five or so and didnt want to pick up the story with fresh PCs so we never finished it).

.
Basically, each begins with the writeup of a town/village/settlement of some description and then has a smallish adventure focussed on one specific God. I found them varied, interesting and my group seemed to find it easy enough to follow the trail without feeling completely led by the nose.

I used Swords and Wizardry, not Pathfinder and one comment I'd make is that there wasnt sufficient experience points to advance as expected if you were to run it as an AP (ie you'll need lots of extra adventures sprinkled throughout). I havent really done any sums as to whether that's true in the Pathfinder version, but I'd be surprised if the same didnt hold.

There was perhaps a little too much reliance on the "OH you need my assistance? Glad to help, all you need do is go get me such-and-such first" plot structure, but that was easy enough to tweak.

For whatever that's worth, I reviewed the whole series. It ranges from ok to great; if you do some work and can live with the fact that the respective structure of each module is the same. The locations are rather iconic, that's for sure.

I just started to run the first module for a party of three 4th level players. Unfortunately we had TPK with a random encounter of giant dire frogs, the party just couldn't handle the ambush/grapple factor, on the way to Lessef (the start of the adventure). Luckily they took it in stride and are rolling up new characters and really want to run the series. I will say you really have to plan out how the party is going to get from one location to the next between modules there is only a small map of the region and no direction on how to get from point A to point B. Its not a horrible issue but does require a lot of prep work. Overall I'm loving the story arc and the adventure locations. Endzeitgeist reviews of the modules on this site are very informative and I highly recommend you check them out.

I was planning on using them as add-ons for RA and maybe Slumbering Tsar when the players want a break so the fact that they are XP light isn't an issue. I just want to tie them into the campaign.

Shadow Lodge

Well, they are kind of their own campaign. As for being XP light, that's what the journey from each town to the next is for...extra encounters!
