Novel that follows rise of the runelords?

Tales

Subject says it all. Is there a pathfinder novel that follows rise of the runelords?

Sczarni

nope, there are a few that are set in locations explored in RotRL (Blood of the City is set in Magnamar, for example) but none that follow this or the other adventure paths specifically.

There will, however, be an audiodrama by Big Finish that follows the iconics through the events of Rise of the Runelords! I've been reading all the scripts, and it looks to be really fun!

That sounds fantastic! I have been keeping a fictionalized account of our campaign, but I love to read and watch others adventure through the path to get ideas. It is often interesting to see how other groups deal with situations. This is also helpful since I am a bit rusty in my DM skill set and it helps me to remember details to focus on.

Grand Lodge

Sounds awesome!

Curses, will be a while before I can listen in on that, ROTRL is on my group's list of to-do campaigns and I'll be playerside for that one.

January 2014.

Sweet thanks Liz!

Sad this made my entire day at work today lol.

Where will we be able to download the audiodrama when it's released?

That's answered in the news release I believe - both Paizo.com and BigFinish.com. Also by CD, not just download.

Question: "Big Finish will produce full-cast and dual spoken word audiobooks in collectible CD and digital download format." What does "dual spoken word" mean?

Very excited!

Paizo Employee Chief Technical Officer

"Dual spoken word" means read by two people. But they don't actually have anything like that planned right now—Rise of the Runelords is full-cast.

This actually sounds pretty badass

Not exactly a novel, but our Rise of the Runelords campaign is unfolding in story form here

And yes, btw, the audiodrama sounds awesome, maybe it's a trend-setter? Could I suggest a similar treatment for Serpent's Skull? Such a rich AP there.
