Net adept Magus?

I am thinking the combination og spellstrike, Spell-combat and the net adept feat. And i wonder i somebody have suggestions or experiance with the combination. Possibly with the soul-knife AT.

Hmmm. Really, I don't see how. I admit that the idea is nice, but... Don't know, I feel that's not a "magus style". You sure can spell combat with a net, but spellstrike would be lame with it. You cna spell combat, so you cast, then you attack with the net, if you hit you can spellstrike... and then do nothing. Once you entangled your opponent, you must hold the net, you don't attack anymore until enemy is in the net... Yup, you can say "I carry a bunch of nets", but really, this go expensive. Again, net is useful only if your enemy is within 1 size category from you, and at higher levels, you either meet larger opponents or opponents with high Str or Escape Artist bonus.

So, if you think using the net only, go bard, It's better. If you want to use net and some other weapon, we can discuss.

Obviously, if you're looking for a good performance, you can throw the net in the wc.

One level in Kensai magus works perfectly, other than the loss of mojo. I am using it on a multiclass for the weapon focus but it does give you the exotic pick. Snag net, enlarge, and a touch spell to reduce either str or dex to reduce the escape chance. I use it for enemy casters because of the concentration check, and we had a few casters run away from us.

Don't forget the Snag Net, which works with the Net feats.

Also, the Grippli are proficient with Nets.

Oh man, the flavor there is nice. I can see it clearly. Frogmagus just dumping Shocking Grasp through the net while he holds his opponent helpless inside of it.

Of course.

Whether you build a house, church, or outhouse, it doesn't matter.

You need to know the available materials, money to spend, available labor, and the ground upon which it will be built.

You could go Human, or Scion of Humanity Aasimar, and nab Racial Heritage(Merfolk) and take a dip into Wave Warden Ranger.

Heck, you could even go Merfolk.

I Think about the shield focused AT because the image of a guy in big armor with a (Riot) shield and a shocking net looks cool in my mind:o)
