So I want to build an arcane caster for PFS. I don't know whether I should go wizard or sorcerer. I know for sorcerer, orc bloodline would be the best, but it's not an option because I don't have the book for it. So, would I be better off going admixture wizard or sorcerer with another bloodline?

Admixture Wizard. Nothing beats versatile evocation + Intense Spells. Ad in spell focus, varisian tattoo, spell specialization and some metamagic rods and there will be nothing you can't utterly destroy.

I'm assuming human is going to be the race of choice for this just because of the extra feat allowing Spell Focus and Varisian Tattoo both at level 1. The only disappointing thing is that my favorite level 1 damage spell isn't evocation school, it's conjuration. Oh well, I'll just have to learn to love burning hands.

I got all stoked thinking this would be some rad build with like a halfling riding around on a barbarian or some summoner/eidolon combo but instead it is just like a caster, not a master or a blaster

I could tell you about my inquisitor I call "the howitzer". But I already know how to finish building him and it's arcane casting that's got me befuddled.

Yes, learn to love burning hands but never forget about freezing hands, acid hands, or lightning hands :)

Also make sure conjuration is not an opposed school. Sometimes you need spells without SR.

We have a Wizard in our home game who may be the highest DPR in the party. But if the opponent has SR or spell immunity (golem) then he crawls into his bag of holding and hides. He chose conjuration as an opposed school.

It's not mine, but I play it with some tweaks. Rolls over EVERYTHING. Purchase a PDF of orcs of golarion, which is fairly reasonable. Most everything else mentioned is core assumption.
