Looking for any GM's out there that may be interested in starting a Jade regent AP or is in need of a new player in an existing one (not too far along though) or if your group is anticipating an opening soon
...
Lou here has been trying to get into one for a year now most of the ones he started in have died or been shut down for various reasons.
so if your group is looking to for a skilled cook and amatuer artist let me know ...

Eden, if you are interested, and haven't found one in a few months, I will be interested in running Jade Regent. I am looking for a good VTT that is not too expensive. Ideally, I would like to run it on Paizo Game Space, but I don't know how long it will take to get up and running.
I have Lou in line to possibly play. Send me a PM, if you are interested.

Well, it looks like we have quite a party growing. I got Lou's character, and I would also like to introduce your characters in my current Rise of the Runelords campaign, to sort of foreshadow the Jade Regent, when I am finally ready to run it.
Unless, someone else wants to volunteer to run it for you guys sooner...

Roidrage, as long as you don't mind a couple of things. First, check the House Rules and see if you are willing to subject yourself to them... :p
And second, I won't be starting for a while for a couple of reasons. First, I am running Rise of the Runelords (which I would like to be the base for kicking off the Jade Regent) and second, I would like to do this via VTT, preferably Paizo Game Space.
So, like I have mentioned a couple of times, if you all don't have an alternative by the time I am finally ready to start, I am happy to run this AP.

A quick mention:
If you really want to kickoff Jade Regent in an interesting way, pick up the free "We Be Goblins!" PDF module. It's a *direct* prequel to the first part of Jade Regent where you play goblins on a mission. Even if you don't play it, it'll give you nice ideas for the first part.

My goal would be to do it via the Paizo Game Space, so live at a pre-arranged time. But I am not sure how soon that could become a reality. If I can find a good VTT that is not too expensive, then I might be able to run earlier.
It could be a little of both, with some outside rp being done via PbP but a majority of combats I would like to do live. (I find that on PbP, combats move way too slow for me.)
What would you guys prefer, and why?

There is a group of players who just embarked on this journey, got to the gates of an abandoned village in the swamp, and then we lost the GM. We are soon to be in the neighborhood for a GM to carry the four of us (at least three of us, we may have lost the fourth). Not sure if we would all be cool with that multitude of house rules, though. I don't think I would be, as they look like they overcomplicate things, especially for a PbP.

Anyone that is interested, please check the House Rules and make sure that you are willing to subject yourself to my storytelling/ GMing style.
These House Rules are currently for my Rise of the Runelords campaign, and also include new equipment and two archetypes. (Though the Shalastian Hunstman, may be inappropriate for the campaign.)

I'm the player of Miles in that game, btw. I might be interested in your house rules, Aeshuura, but it would be with a bit of kicking and screaming. (I use Hero Lab because I am incredibly lazy and the house rules would have me doing a lot more work, but if your GM'ing style compensates for that, I'd be willing to compromise.) Didn't want you to take what I said about the house rules being overcomplicated as anything insulting.

Oh, no. Of course not. I prefer to run with a more cinematic style, and allow for a lot of improvement in characters outside of level gain. The Vigor and Wounds also increases the survival rate for low levels. (What level are you guys, by the way? What is the group make-up?)
For me, role-playing overcomes/supercedes roll-playing.
Whoever joins will be joining Lou Kasuri, a monk that grew up in Sandpoint along with his father and sister.

If you were curious about our little group of 4 or at least 3, the game we were in is here. You can see we only got about 4 pages worth of gameplay in, and there's some interaction between our PCs that has started to establish us (three young adventurers and a slightly older burglar on the lam from Magnimar).

Little Bump. Again, I am not just running Yossarin and Lou. I need players that are willing to subject themselves to my house rules. If we can get three or four more, I will begin working on the campaign.
I am not planning to start until after we finish the last book in my face-to-face campaign, since I am playing. Don't want to spoil it for myself. ^_^
