Seriously, you guys need to start revealing the stretch goals earlier. ^.^
This is probably true, but remember Wolfgang is a father, and one of the Baby Baur's is brand new.
+1 for alliteration!
Anyway, I think he's having a family day and he'll be back this evening to update everything.

I don't know. Personally I'd be amused to see us make it past a wizard locked stretch goal only to see it revealed after the fact: 'At this level all backers receive a pint of cottage cheese in the mail!'

Happy father days, Wolfgang! Gratz on the Baby Baur.

Anyone able to tell me if the print version is hardcover or softcover? I see references to hardcover in higher backer rewards, but didn't see anything in the lower rewards (and some comments suggested softcover).
Right now it is a softcover book.
Wolfgang said that if the book continues growing in thickness it will become a hardcover. When, if that ever happens, is really up to the King of Kobolds.

Yep, it was family day, we visited the mountains, Internet was spotty at best. I had a wonderful, wonderful time in the National Park system, but I just got home, so.... I am sure I will update the project like mad tomorrow.
Goldomark is right, the book is a softcover--and it keeps adding new material so quickly that a hardcover seems pretty much inevitable. However, as of this minute, the hardcovers are only guaranteed to the higher pledge levels.
That could change rather quickly, of course.
Havoc XIII, I will send details on the spell submission process to backers on Monday. You only get to submit the text once, so make sure it is ready!

Can you tease us or will some kobolds take you away if you break a NDA?
Thanks!
Hmm...lemme check my contract...
No NDA, but I also don't want to spoil anything. So, just a teaser: I wrote a total of ten sound-based spells--level 0 through 9th--usable by a variety of classes. As a player, I most definitely would not want to be on the receiving end of the 9th level spell.

Just over [EDIT: 20] backers to go to get the hardcover. Looking pretty good so far, but I must admit a certain anticipation when I see the new stretch goals announced.
And yes, good to see Super Genius jumping on board... As I said earlier: more 3PP caster love is warranted. And as Cheapy said "Death Mage".

I'm a stretch goal. Woot. :)
Marc Radle wrote:Next goals are announced: a hardcover for all backers when we hit 800, and Owen Stephens writes blood magic at $44,000 (possibly including a godling spell or two...)!Let's just say godlings will be mentioned in my blood spells... :D
Great to see Mr. Stephens involved! :)

I had hoped that Kobold Press would collect the magic articles from KQ and from there website and compile a book and with deep magic they are doing just that!
However, there are some other books just waiting to be made. I would love to see books made on the following topics using KQ and website articles:
Monsters (MidGard Bestiary II)
Class Paths (A collection of the new classes, alternative classes, archetypes, and class support articles)
Equipment and Magic (A collection of the various equipment, magic items, vehicles, and artificats with the artifacts getting personal histories)
Paizo (A collection of all the Official Paizo Content from KQ and the website)
Mastering MidGard (A GM focused book collecting articles focused on styles of play, alternative or more indepth rules, etc.)
Powers of MidGard (A collection of NPCs and there back stories, and with Mythic in mind this would be a good place to revisit Jezebal, Adriel, Titivillus, Belphegor, and Arbeyach)
