This event is for anyone attending the convention. It is the "night before" everything goes crazy where you can just meet everyone else who is heading into this crazy shindig of a weekend.
I am staying with some friends in the area to save on expenses and unfortunately, I don't think they will be attending the con. Would it be okay to invite them to your event Kyle?
I would completely understand if you are trying to keep this from turning into some kind of "crazy college" party. Just wanted to check before I make firm plans for the weekdays leading up to the con.

The red shirt is being beautiful, I got myself a solid crew behind it to make the region a better place. We are invading every Tacoma game store right now...even The Matrix is starting to roll with PFS.
There's a ton of new games popping up everywhere. You gotta get back for this party bro, and for Paizocon. Don't maybe it, make that s$#@ happen! Hide in the gear well of a cargo plane if you have too ;p

As posted on FB, we are hoping to leave for Seattle with enough time to make this, we are waiting for someone to get their work schedule to know for sure. We will be a 4 top if we make it, will update RSVP within the week if it ends up not working out.

Heh...I haven't thrown a party like that since my younger days...
I will make an effort to attend at some point. No guarantees that I make it during food service, sadly. But I'm a-goin'.
I might bring three with me. They may want to do other stuff, though, so I'll let 'em RSVP their own selves.
I may be getting dropped off early with luggage in tow, since my in-laws have other plans for the 4th. Is there someplace I can stash my suitcase & backpack until heading for the hotel?

For sure! You can put the luggage at my place and I can seal it off in the upstairs so no one can gets to it!
BY THE WAY
Shuttles will start running to and from the hotel at 2 PM, with a second shuttle starting at 4 PM. The last shuttle will be leaving to return to the hotel between midnight and 1 am...whenever y'all get tossed out!
I have also secured 3 cases of wine from a local winery. Summer wines to be exact, so whites and and a rose. For the not so beer drinker crew.

Just to confirm, some tables of PFS will be played during this meet n greet, right?
You will have to check the other threads for the folks organizing these. I have table space available and offered to anyone who wishes to run a game. Some indoor, some outdoor...but I am not organizing these events. My hands are a little full juggling other details of the shindig ;p

Don't worry about it good sir :) We all know how it is to travel a long way and then just be dead tired.
If you have it in ya, come and say hi for a plate of good food, a cold beer, and a high five or two...then head to the cool rooms of the Marriott.

I know on top of all else, you are providing multiple frothy beverages (which is absolutely, amazingly awesome, btw). Would there be any issue with folks bringing additional, higher octane options as well?
And thanks for setting all this up and be sure to make yourself known (need to send some funding your way and a personal thanks for organizing what looks like it will become a truly amazing gathering) ... unless you really are a bear, in which case I think you'll be easy to find. ;)
Looks like I'm going to miss the food - flight doesn't get into Seattle until almost 9. I'll still come looking for Ezekiel and PFCBG...

Everyone I know who will be there at the same time as I will be here. So I'll be here.
Not sure how I'll get there though. Maybe Jim or Thursty will bring down riding moose.
BTW: How will we identify said shuttle?
I now I should be sleeping, since there'll be much meeting (and meating) and eating, in like 14 hours. I just can't bring myself to hit the sack.

Thoughts of a Party Organizer:
Do I have enough food?
Call the caterer!
The caterer says it will take a miracle to eat everything I've ordered...
Do I have enough beer?
Call the brewery!
The brewery emailed me the proper way to dispose of any beer we don't consume...they don't know I invited aussies...
Do I have enough other drinks?
Check the garage!
The tower of water almost fell over when I tried to count it...
What else do I need?
I DONT KNOW YET, BUT I AM SURE I FORGOT SOMETHING!
Continue to stress about it until the party is done...?
Any news on shuttle buses? 2:43 and no sign of it from the lobby?
For anyone else checking this, the first shuttle has happened, so it should be on rotation now.
