Ok so shouldn't the male witches be called warlocks? Also am I understanding the rules correctly that at second level a witch can take up a dual class called tattoo sorcerer and pick a way for their familiar to be a tattoo on their body so they don't have to risk their familiar dying, because if their familiar dies it doesn't come back with all the spells you taught it it only comes back with whats listed in the amount in the advanced players guide?

I was reading about what happens if a witch's familiar dies and how it gets to add its level to any other class the witch has that has a familiar and made me think of sorcerers which I was reading other day. Yeah those compsognathus familiars are nice since they give you a +4 to initiative and if you take improved initiative then you looking at a +8 to initiative.

Nabbing a Haramaki with the Hosteling enchantment works too.
Better than hurting your spell casting by splitting caster stats, and spell progression.
Also you could just make use of the spell raise animal companion when and if you familiar does die.

This is partly for reasons of rules clarity (I mean, technically Seoni is a sorceress, but she still gets called by the male form 'sorceror' for rules clarity), partly because a certain non-Paizo class called "warlock" exists with a very different rules set, and - lastly - because the term 'warlock' has bad historical connotations which the various defenders of the practice of RL witchcraft are eager to dissociate with their particular mystic tradition.

Ohh! The scarred witch doctor with a spell tattoo familiar! Basically his mask is a face tattoo that comes off!
Would that work?
My GM ruled that it doesn't because the witch states that a multiclassed with uses the witch familiar entry not the entry for the other class' familiar.
