Sitting here in the cafe trying to be a hipster ironically (being a real hipster is too mainstream), letting my mind wander.
Why is Shadow Weapon not on the list of Magus spells? You'd think calling up a weapon with a spell would be one of the first things a martial minded caster would develop.
Why are there no intelligent Eidolon base forms? It's the avatar of a vastly more powerful being from beyond. Surely at least some of them would invest more mental capacity in their mini selves. Also, a powerful but dumb Summoner who constantly needs his much smarter Eidolon to keep him out of trouble sounds hilarious. "Explain to me again why you thought buying those beans with all your money was a good investment?" *pinching bridge of nose with tentacle*...
Are there Dragon Disciple type PrCs for bloodlines other than Draconic? Or a guide on how to build them?
Why are Cantrip type magic items so expensive for what they do? Considering a caster can cast them ad infinitum anyway...
Do shorter than normal gnomes get short short short man syndrome?
Should the 'average NPC level' be higher for longer lived races? After all, they've had much more time to earn experience even if its just from social encounters.
Why do dragons horde treasure? And what did they horde before humanoids came along and started mining and smelting?
Where are all the Ninja archtypes? Or anti-paladin? Or Samurai?
Why on earth does the Martial artist Monk archtype not get ki? Talk to any martial artist doing an eastern style and most will talk about how 'internal energy' is important to the style.
Can you craft a magic item that will craft magic items?
Why aren't there Create food and water magic items everywhere? Surely clerics of gods of Good, feasting, comfort, etc would be out there crafting them wherever possible? Even gods of toil and tyranny would be making them if only to make sure the workers are strong enough to work. They pay for themselves in the long run.
Why aren't dragons running every economy everywhere? With super genius intelligence and vast wisdom surely they know they can get back so much more if they invest their hoard in business?
Why does no kingdom, empire or country invest in magic infrastructure? Think of how efficient it would be to have a “news/law pole” in every town that would proclaim every new law or important event as soon as it happens. Or be able to report monster attacks/ invasions/plagues/etc instantly to whoever is in charge. A medium sized kingdom should easily be able to afford them.
How badly does a cleric have to stuff up before their god cuts off their magic?
If most spellcasters aren't adventurers, why aren't there more “convenience” magics? Fiztwips' Summon Warm Fuzzy Slippers for example.
