I have an evil cleric character, as such i channel negetive energy. My question is, can i cast spells like cure light wounds? It says in the spell that it is cast by channeling positive energy, but is it different based on it's being a spell rather than an ability? also, if it is, how do i convince my gm? Thank you!

Yes you can cast Cure X Wounds spells. You just can't cast them spontaneously, so you'll want to prepare a few of them. Or, you know: get a wand.
Truth is spoken here, worth mentioning as well: Evil Clerics spontaneously cast the Inflict spells, useful for maintaining ally undead (or PC dhampirs) health levels

Just as good clerics can prepare evil spells or spells that do negative energy damage (like the inflict wounds series of spells) so can evil clerics prepare good spells or spells that heal with positive energy (like the cure wounds series of spells). But do not be confused: positive energy spells are not spells with the good descriptor just as negative energy spells are not spells with the evil descriptor.
These should be allowed unless the GM has a compelling reason in his campaign to disallow them (like an artifact blocking access to or negating all positive energy near it).

Actually, your first sentence is not entirely true.
From the cleric section of the Core Rulebook:
Chaotic, Evil, Good, and Lawful Spells: A cleric can't cast spells of an alignment opposed to her own or her deity's (if she has one). Spells associated with particular alignments are indicated by the chaotic, evil, good, and lawful descriptors in their spell descriptions.
So good clerics can't cast evil spells, and evil clerics can't cast good spells.
But your final sentence explains why that doesn't matter for the cure/inflict spells. They aren't good or evil, so any cleric can cast them.
