Hi everyone. I have a Silver Crusade Inquisitor in planning, that would benefit greatly of Enlarge Person. The thing is, the built already requires a 2 level dip into another class and I don't want to lose further levels. As my charisma sucks, a wand of enlarge person is also out of the built. So: how do I get it? The only Item, I've found so far that would benefit me is:
Cloak of the Hedge Wizard
Any other ideas?

Potions of Enlarge Person are only 50 GP, and avoid the problem of taking a full round to cast. Take the Accelerated Drinker trait, and as long as you walk around with a potion in hand, you can drink as a move action and still get an attack. The 50 gold rapidly becomes trivial, and much less of a cost than an undesirable multiclass or trying to get UMD up to a reasonable level.

Sounds like a plan... I will prolly get the Cloak anyways, to have one free Enlarge Person every day and than start drinking if noone can support me with a buff...
any other ideas are also welcome though ;)
Just out of curiosity: there are no ways to draw a potion as a swift action, correct?
Tiefling with a prehensile tail is about it.

Sooo... I'm trying to do a built based on Intimidating in Combat and AoOs...
I am utilizing a huge threath range over a reach weapon (fauchard) and armor spikes.
For feats I go for
- Power Attack
- Exotic Weapon Proficiency
- Antagonize
- Intimidating Prowess
- Combat Reflexes
- Combat Patrol
The plan is to use Antagonize to force melee foes to attack me while utilizing Combat Patrol and Combat reflexes to retreat step by step in his turn while he comes closer (and in best case position in a way that this is redoable the following round). My Intimidate value will be
4 (wisdom) + 4 (strength) + Class Skill (3) + 1/2 Inqui levels + HD + magic items
which should be enough to be able to beat the DCs you stumble across...
4 AoOs should than be enough (together with a threat range of 5) to prevent the enemy from getting close...
Further than that I will use the spell (level 2, don't know for sure abouth the name) burning invective, buffs and heals in my round, while maintaing the antagonize as free actions and using move actions to reposition.
As the built is pretty feat heavy (Society Play, so I don't want to wait to long) and using a reach weapon while having enlarge person up can be pretty dangerous I will dip 2 levels polearm figther to get short grip and 2 bonus feats.

My wife has this build without all the intimidate stuff, she uses Living Monolith to grow.
I am not sure your intimidation combos will work. You need a standard action to antagonize and a full action to combat patrol, I know you could extend antagonize one round to get this to go off every other round. Even still, I don't think you still get more than one AoO against any single opponent in a single round for movement. We were pretty disappointed when we first read this.
Moving out of more than one square threatened by the same opponent in the same round doesn't count as more than one opportunity for that opponent.
Does combat patrol undo this language? I am not 100% convinced.

You can get Enlarge Person 1/day as a part of an armor bonus:
Titanic
Price +3 bonus; Aura moderate transmutation; CL 7th; Weight —
A suit of armor with the titanic ability is almost comically oversized, though the effect is superficial and the interior fits a creature normally, with no adjustments necessary. A creature wearing titanic armor is considered one size category larger for the purpose of using or being affected by special attacks that depend on size, such as swallow whole and trample. Once per day on command, the wearer can increase her size as if using enlarge person (even if the wearer is not humanoid) for 1 minute. In addition, once per minute as a free action the wearer can add the armor's enhancement bonus to a single Strength check or combat maneuver check, or to her CMD against a single combat maneuver.
Because of its great bulk, the armor check penalty of titanic armor is increased by an amount equal to its enhancement bonus.
Construction Requirements
Cost +3 bonus
Craft Magic Arms and Armor, enlarge person
You can take this feat for intimidate as part of an melee attack:
Enforcer (Combat) from the APG
Prerequisite: Intimidate 1 rank.
Benefit: Whenever you deal nonlethal damage with a melee weapon, you can make an Intimidate check to demoralize your target as a free action. If you are successful, the target is shaken* for a number of rounds equal to the damage dealt. If your attack was a critical hit, your target is frightened* for 1 round with a successful Intimidate check, as well as being shaken for a number of rounds equal to the damage dealt.

Chev,
Take Power Attack and Cornugon Smash. Please. That combo will get you a free intimidate every time you hit with a PA. I'm not sure what the purpose is for a dip in relation to an Intimidate build as the Inq is MADE for Intimidate useage.
Make sure you put Ranks in Linguistics, as some spells (Blistering Invective, I'm looking at you...) are dependent on the target understanding you.
Intimidating Prowess isn't really all that necessary if you put ranks in Int every level, but I think you said your Charisma is not all that high. Make sure you take Outflank and Paired Opportunist. That way your "Flank Buddy" will grant you AoO every time he/she crits. For extra fun, you can ask your buddy to take those two feats as well so you can set up a daisy-chain of AoO's by critting and proccing off of each other. Make sure to use a weapon with a high crit range (Elven Curve Blade, Greatsword, Falchion etc). Your buddy should do the same.
P.S. My DM is pretty smart and saw right through the daisy-chain idea. He put the law down quickly that we were allowed only one full cycle of Crit-proc AoO-AoO etc.

Plant/Growth subdomain power Enlarge Person <stat bonus per day> as a free or swift I forget? action. Errata and actual published rules vary as to duration, PFSRD says one round per use , book doesn't clarify so that's <level> minutes my giant friend , GM says published overrules unofficial internet.
Raging Dwarf cleric/barbarian with a keen greataxe, great cleave, power attack, reach = lotsa dead orcs. Its ReDonkulous.
Nothing says intimidate like a large pile of bodies at your feet.

....no need to put anything in any build or stuff like that.
Buy the following item:
Cracked Vibrant Purple Ioun stone (or..check for spelling errors)
Get a wand of enlarge person.
Put a charge in the Ioun stone...or let it be put in there (having use magic device or not)
And then use the spell whenever you want.
I think the Ioun stone costs 2500 gp or something? It's basicly a 1st lvl spell storing item which activates the spell. Can even use it to store a shield spell in it or other personal spells like that.
Most simple way to do it.
Great thing is: you can keep putting spells in there. No downtime:)
