Armor class

Advice

Iam looking to increse my AC. The things i can see i can get a better ac from is:
armor
shield
amulett of natural armor
ring of protection

any thing else you could think of?
If thers any clerics spells that stack wit the bonus on the items above i can use them as well.

Thanks

Grabbing a Belt of Incredible Dexterity would make your Dex go up, which would increase your AC as well (assuming that you aren't already at your max Dex bonus).

iam wearing a full plate.

can i use a ring of force shield in my weapon hand and use it as a shield?

I see no reason y not.

If you have the DEX for it, dodge feat will give you an extra +1 AC
Shield of faith grants a deflection bonus (does not stack with ring of protection though)
getiing your armor and shield enchanted will up your AC
you can fight defensively, or use combat expertise

Also if you have a certain number of ranks in acrobatics (forgotten the number.) you get +1 more ac when fighting defensively.

If you are using a shield then shield focus feats.

There is also some racial feats for a couple of races that give AC.

Liberty's Edge

Get a magical defending weapon.

Liberty's Edge

Reduce Person

Protection from alignment (does not stack with Shield of Faith)

Aid another from an ally

Oath of Loyalty Paladin next to you

Three ranks in acrobatics gives the extra bonus to ac for fighting defensively

Buy a Ring of Foe Focus. Best thing I ever bought for my Inquisitor in Rappan Athuk. Still didn't stop him from taking 110 damage from a critical though.

Monk's Robes (+1 bonus) and Dusty Rose Ioun Stone (+1 Insight).

Scarab Sages

Jingasa of the fortunate soldier
Dusty Rose Prism Ioun Stone
Mithral armor (increased dex cap).

If you are a fighter, armor training raises max DEX.

If I am not mistaken you lose a shield bonus to AC if you attack with a weapon in that hand. For instance if you were wearing a buckler, and weilding a 2handed weapon, and you attacked with it, you'd lose the shield bonus for that round. Same with two weapon fighting. Though the only reference to this behavior is with the buckler, I think i'd rule it would apply to a ring of force sheild

And the ring of force shield does not add to a proper shield.
