First of sorry for the bad English language.
I have some questions about TWF.
Iam considering building a character that dual-wields two kukri or two other light weapons. But what I cant find out is the what the penalties are when wielding two light weapons. Can some one enlighten me?
And are kukri the best weapon of choice when duel-wielding?
Thanks alot!
"You can take a 5-foot step before, during, or after your
other actions in the round."
Does this mean if you have two attacks you can do your first attack, take a 5-foot then your second attack?
Anybody have a great build for a paladin/mythic guardian?
What would you say is the best Prestige Classes for a paladin?
Thanks
I was wondering if you could use alignment channel to make your channel smite affect evil outsiders instead of it just doing positive energy damage to undead?
well what kind of class is it? can i find it in any of the books?
And is it as good as it looks like?
I was suppose to build a bow paladin. But another player wanted to play it so iam going for somthing else.
I can`t remember that ihave playd a paladin wit sword and shild. Any ideas to a good build?

It can be activated and deactivated at will as a free action..

Any other tips?
i read here at the forum that mystic theurge is not all that good..?
And the Trickster is not my cup of tea..
cleric, rouge, wizard, ranger and my fighter.
Was woundering about a fighter/sorcer/ dragon D. That way the graoup still has a fighter and i get to mox it up.
well iam just bord of playing a fighter. So anything goes.
But not any specefic concept yet.
"Whoever breaks this crystalline hourglass blacks out for 24 hours. During this time no power can reawaken her, as she is gradually swapping places with another version of herself from some other place—a parallel dimension, an ideal concept of the gods, an impossibly distant time, or the like. If a PC breaks the hourglass, that PC's player may completely recreate her character, rerolling statistics, changing race and classes, altering feat and skill selections, and otherwise changing any choice she made regarding her character, as major or minor as she pleases. The PC's possessions remain the same, however. After 24 hours, the character reawakens, revised and affected as if by the heal spell. Her memories are nearly identical to those of her previous self, though her age and certain choices might result in numerous minor differences. This effect is permanent and the character's previous incarnation cannot be restored except by finding another hourglass of transfiguration."
i just got this artifact and i gives my alot of posibilitys.
What would you do? multiclass? go for a singel new class? iam currently a fighter.
14 level. 84(87) score points.
What would you do?
only player and advanced player.
How would you guys build a monk if you only could use ålayer and advanced player?
Thanks
you cant check befor the attack whos within reach if you take a 5step during the attack?
Thanks for very good answers!
let me just start say iam sorry for the bad english
1: can you move during a whirlwind attack? Was woundering about this since spring attack is one of the feats you have to have to take in whirlwind attack.
2: Whats the reach when enlarge and making a whirlwind attack?
3: does whirlwind attack and lunge work togheter?
4: does natural armor stack with armor?
Amulet of natural armor and a ordinary full plate +1?
Thanks!
Looking on a way to enhance my strength. The bonuses i can remember are:
inherent- manual og bodly helth...
enchantment- belt of giant strength...
moral- rage, greater rage...
size-enlarge person, giant-shape I-II...
level- every 4th level one point..
Any thing else?
iam playing a fighter with a ring thats give me enlarge person at will.
If anybody know how i could jump up a size i would be glad to hear it!
Thanks
Have any of you been a GM or a player in a monster campaing where the players ar monsters?
How did you do it? what monsters was allowed to play?
A lot of question regards this one, so if any one could tell me the how they did it from start to end i would be very ggreatfull!
magus
paldain
wizard focus summoning
wizard focus buffing/debuffing
i looks like the dwarf dont wanna play.
Maybe you can turn him in to an NPC ? And if the player turns up make him make another player ?
good luck :)
If enlarge person is cast upon you, could u stil use the compesite longbow?
does somyhing as a oversized shield exsist? And if so what kind of shield bonus does it grant?

+2 magic bastard sword
10th lvl fighter BAB 10
weapon focus (+1 atk)
weapon training 2 (+2 atk and dmg with hvy blades)
that gives me two attacks of 21/16
also have weapon spec (+2 dmg)
Power Attack (-3 atk and +6 dmg)
regular attack action is 21/16 attack and 1d10+12 per hit
Power attack is 18/13 and 1d10+18 per hit(one handed attack carrying hvy shield)
Nice, but i think you should do more :)
strength +6, but when wielding a basterd sword you apply 1 1/2 half to your strengt. That gives 9(6*1,5)
magic +2
weapon training + 2
power attack +6
weapon spes+2
so if iam not wrong you should do 1d10+21, 2d10+42 :) ?
Have you considered taking a levl? barberian to get rage? +4 strength.
And if if i was you i would get a hold of a oversized basterd sword, that would make 1d10 to a 2d8. 4d8+42 is a respectabel damage :) He's using it one handed. If it was two-handed (and it should be), he'd be dealing +24 a hit, since Power Attack's damage would also go up by 3. i got a question my self.
Why is it that teh vast majority thinks the two handed is better then the two weapon style? In my, tierd, head it just dont ad up..
ok. Ill quess its a matter of taste. I think the 3/6 more in damage is mor valubale the 2 more in ac. But everyone is deifferent :)
Still i would consider a level i barbarian.
Do u fight two weapon style, bashing people with your shield?

How do you do the damage?
give us the set up of the player :)

Shfish wrote: Well the player may have been thinking it was the same progression as the others and since it is a level 5, did 5d8...average rolls is (40+12)*1.5=78....so did he roll bad in his mistake? :-) Er, what? The average roll of 5d8 is 22.5, so empowered, it'd be an average of 33.75+15 for 48.75 damage. That's pretty spot on, actually, so you might be on to something.
It'd be kind of weird, however, in my opinion, for the guy to know die averages so well, but not have read the spell correctly.
it maybe easy to heal that amount of damage. But with that spell you dont have 5d8, you have 1d8.
does he have the healing domain? :
Healer’s Blessing (Su): At 6th level, all of your cure spells
are treated as if they were empowered, increasing the
amount of damage healed by half (+50%). This does not
apply to damage dealt to undead with a cure spell. This
does not stack with the Empower Spell metamagic feat.
Not totaly sure how it work, but that would heal 1d12+15(16-27)
as a quick quess i would suggest that he can heal 10+1d8 with mass, cure light wounds.
Starglim wrote: You could look at: You Only Die Twice
Barring specific magic effects, a character who has died and become an undead can return to life if the undead is destroyed and resurrection cast on the remains.
Thanks.
Many good ideas comes to mind :)
iam thinking of killing my players and make them undeads for a periode.
So i was woundering if it was possibel to bring them back to life afther a periode as undeads?
blackbloodtroll wrote: You can just play a Magus.
That is a Fighter/Wizard mix right there.
Most of the rest of your post incomprehensible.
Non-native speaker?
Thanks, ill take a look at it.
And no iam not a native speaker, and its well over a decade since i have written in english..
Thanks to all!
iam gonna build a war wizar from the playes handbook. That means multiclassing fighter/wizard.
To means i need to lower my Spell failure chances. Ofcurse ther is arcane armor training. And i was woundering to take Craft Magic Arms and Armor to build me an armor out of Mithral to reduce it further more for 10%. But Mithral is exspensiv as hell. So i was woundering if ther was any way i could get the cost down? if i make an magic item its at half the price. can the same thing be done with mithral?
What build would you go for if you was planing to play a crafter of magical items?
what are the diefferent bonses to armor and shield?
regualr armor/shield bonus, dodge, enchantment any other?
if items please name them:)
Yhanks
Urist The Unstoppable wrote: blackbloodtroll wrote: How the heck does anyone do "tons of damage" with Repeating Crossbows?
Well I suppose a Paladin with a Crossbow, Rapid Reload, Improved Critical, and Falcon's Aim bracers would do pretty well.
KingmanHighborn wrote: That might be it then Klumz, the only time he has access to the books is when he is at my house, otherwise Hero Labs is his only source.
Well that and d20pfsrd site, but I'm not sure how often he checks that.
But Chemlak how is he getting 15-20 A keen katana would be 17-20 wouldn't it? Tell him to exclusively use d20pfsrd =P why paladin?
4d6 and 3 sets of stats, choose the best.
he is defently cheating. Katana has the crit 18-20 and with imp.crit he gets 15-20 or he could get a keen katana and get the same, 15-20 crit. They do NOT stack.
i have played with a couple of cheaters in my time and found it to be two soloutions to the problem. You can have the talk where you acuses him for cheating or you can decied that all player making are going to happen togheter with the books, and go over each other characthers. And if there are any problems make him show it in the book and explain how it works. Over time he will get that cheating is no longer an option..
