Dear Selene,
I have not been spying on you.I promise. But I am curious which of the newer members of the crew did you like best?
*Looks around suspiciously*
Okay....
I can't think of her name the red head...not Jewel...the other one, though I did not like the lazy ending they had for her...
The old lady was good.,,

JonGarrett |

Sikozu is the red headed Kalish with an attitude.
Noranti Pralatong is the Traskan who'se gone off her meds, taken everyone elses meds, and then made a stew.
Joolushko Tunai Fenta Hovalis, or Jool to everyone who can't be bothered to say her full name, is an Interion with a superiority complex.
...also currently on season 4 of my rewatch.
For Farscape related questions...whose death (including the ones in other realities) shocked you the most?

Zhan's death....i think the show lost something at the point...

They didn't have a choice though … the make-up routine was damaging Virginia Hey's health. :(
They lost a member of what had - at that point - become a family.
Wouldn't the crew have felt a permanent loss at that point?

Oh yeah I understand the real life reasons it had to happen...but I think Zhan/Virginia Hey did a great job of being the mystic of the group that I think plots after that they inserted characters into her role who were meh...mostly Stark...while I liked the character he was no Zhan.

I dunno, this article seemed pretty favorable.
Edit: Started reading the CM thread now.

THIS is the proper use for Goblins!!
I couldn't see it...something about it not being compatible with my device. :(
Though the best use of goblins is Magic Mud from Lot5R.

I am going to withhold judgement till I read it for myself...
What is giving you bad feeling?
With a deeper reading of PF2, may I withdraw my worries (without being too embarrassment)?

Its a flash game where you Archers defending a wall against waves of Goblins.

So you like PF2 now?
I do.
* - It addresses the Martial/Caster disparity. We will see if it has been "fixed" or not.
* - "Bonus Runaway" has been sharply curtailed.
* - Yes, "Races" are less powerful, in general, but over all, better balanced.
* - Asymmetric Monster Design should reduce the likelihood of TPKs (barring willful stupidity on the part of the players).
For me, these are huge.
Yes, there are some things I don't like, but they are more minor.

I love her art, but I'm not nearly whimsical enough to be one of her subjects.

Yes!
Worst:Coffee
What?! How can anyone not love-
No, that's the wrong attitude. I'm sorry, and I will respect your choices. I swear that if someone ever threatens you with a pint of coffee ice cream, I will pounce on it and gorge myself defuse it completely in 10-15 minutes.

Check this out!
Looks interesting...I will have to get the Corebook to see what they did with skill feats to completely judge it...which should be later tonight...

Dear Selene,
If you got stuck in a cabin in a woods, but there was no killers on the prowl, would you terrify your neighbors (who live up the hillside) by dressing as Pennywise?
Mmmm...it depends...
Are my neighbors armed?
Do my neighbors have a sense of humor?
Do I like my neighbors?
Though I might not go with Pennywise and go with something more classic to the setting....

I did not understand the ritual rules at that point (specifically Planar Binding), which would have radically changed the "Diabolist Raised" background.
Also, the "Infernal Bastard" background was written in a vacuum, so I was guessing on a good "feat" for it. Compounding this is that the trait was written to nerf the Tiefling, which proved to be unneeded.
Also just a thought there is I believe a player guide coming out for the first 2nd ed AP...you might want to check it out...
Downloaded and read last week.

I have noticed two problems...
1) At certain levels you really dont have a option between Ancestry and Class feats due to character options.
Ex.: At a certain level (I am thinking 9th) a elf has two choices one of them requiring you to be a spellcaster...
That doesn't really fills me with a sense of freedom.
2) The other problem area is heightening version of spells...since you are using using resources the spell should be equal in power level of the other spells of that level...some are not even close.
Ex.: Mage Armor gives you +3 at 10th level...which compared to 10th level spells is a joke...I mean I can rewrite reality with the wish class of spells...
This in my opinion creates traps.

1) You can select earlier level feats, you don't have to select the 9th level feat at level 9. Also we'll definitely get more as more books come out.
2) Mage Armor can only be heightened to 6th (11th level at the earliest).

Rysky wrote:2) Mage Armor can only be heightened to 6th (11th level at the earliest). She's still right though. Compare that to actual 6th level spells, and heightened Mage Armor still comes up short.
Oh, I was wrong, you can get to 10th, it was at the top of the next page (which from a pdf means it's on the opposite side of the page >_<) My apologies Selene.
You can Heighten it to 10, for a +3 to AC and Saves. It's definitely very plain, but it lasts until you redo your spells. I'm sure there's more specific options that can work better in situations, but I haven't played with the system enough with the new math to comment that far.
