I usually dont have that problem but when I do I read materials on the setting that my mind need to be on...

1) Quit Smoking...

I don't smoke, so all I can do there is Stare In Judgementalness, and I found love already, but I shall join you in Number 2! I am down to a svelte 350 lbs already, though (don't ask what it was before).

As for the clothes I got...
The skirts fit nicely...
The dress fit okay..
The tops though was a size or two too small...which is fine...I know now.

The less developed a setting is the more you can play with while remaining true to the original...however you have to be very careful when when you start developing established rule within the setting...
For instance the Force in Star Wars is a cornerstone in that setting...changing how it works would make the setting Not Star Wars faster than revealing that R2D2 was really a small tech alien and it's vehicle would.
So basically if you respect the cornerstones of the setting you can do alot.

Very True.
I think he did what he did because everybody called Star Wars a sci-fantasy and Jedi space wizards. Also probably the whole Jedi religion thing might have freaked him out so he tried to root The Force more into sci-fi.
