I'm playing a Samsaran wizard, and I stole spite from the witches via my race being awesome. Spite says...
Choose a single touch range spell of 4th level or lower with a casting time of 1 standard action or less. As part of the action of casting spite, you cast the associated spell and bind it into a defensive ward in the form of a tattoo, birthmark, or wart somewhere upon your body. The next time you are hit by a melee attack or a combat maneuver is used successfully against you, the stored spell is triggered against your foe. You do not need to succeed on a touch attack to affect the target, but in all other respects the spell is treated as though you had cast it normally. If the attacking creature is not a valid target for the spell, the stored spell is lost with no effect.
You can have only one spite spell in effect at a time; if you cast this spell a second time, the previous spell effect ends.
What are some suggestions for nasty spells to put in spite? Remember, I'm a wizard. Vampiric touch is a no-brainer, i'm looking for stuff that's more clever.

As far as I can tell, the Paralysis has no save to negate it, you just have to succeed on the touch attack (which is automatic). The Fort Save is for anyone else within 10 feet to avoid being sickened.
Force Punch to get them out of your face (which is always nice).
Fleshworm Infestation is a nice little "Screwed if you fail, still debilitated if you pass" effect.
Bestow Curse is always a crowd favorite.

If it's an undead-heavy campaign and you get to choose from the witch spell list...cure serious wounds. :D
But seriously. Poison, all day. Why wouldn't you want to be a poisonous Samsaran? Similarly hilarious is touch of slime, because having your assailant be punished is imperative, and Death By Ooze is the most terrifying death for an adventurer imaginable.
Other good ones are touch of idiocy and inflict serious wounds.

good question, it says you choose a spell, and as part of casting spite, you cast that spell. do you have to have that spell memorized? or known? or do you just get whatever 4th level or lower spell?

Though it doesn't explicitly say it, I think it should be taken as granted that in order to use the spell with Spite, you must be able to cast it. Which means it must be on your spell list, and you must know it.
The ability says:

The bolded part indicates it is as if you cast the spell. You cant cast spells that you don't know and aren't on your spell list, ergo you are limited to those spell you know.

Depends on the foe you're facing. Hold person is great against humanoids. Vampiric touch can be fun, too. Bestow curse is pretty definitely all-purpose. I would (probably) not use anything with a Fort save in this spell, because things that try to hit you with a melee attack tend to have high Fort saves.
