23 without boons is what I came up with.
Human (Xa Hoi)
Wizard 1
Int 20
Skill Focus Craft (Traps)
Prodigy Craft (Traps), and Profession Sailor
Trait: Clan Artisan: Craft (Traps)
Crafter's Fortune (+5 luck bonus)
The Breakdown.
Ability: +5 (Int bonus)
Luck : +5 (Crafter's Fortune)
Trait : +2 (Clan Artisan)
Untyped: +5 (Feats)
Class : +3 (Game rules, Class Skill bonus)
Circm : +2 (MW Artisen's tools)
Comp : +0 (Probably a boon for this...)
Ranks : +1
Edit: Misread alchemist class ability, so changed it to wizard. Updated a couple things for clarity. Listed the sources after the bonus, and the type of bonus before

+23 is impressive. Is the challenge level 1?
Aasimar (musetouched) Bard (street performer)
Ability: +5 (Cha Bonus)
Ranks: +1
Class: +3
Trait: +4 (Inner Beauty, worshipper of Shelyn gets +4 to a perform check 1/day)
Untyped: +3 (Skill Focus)
Racial: +2 (musetouched aasimar)
Circum: +2 (mwk instrument)
This is only +20, but as a street performer, the character achieves double the gold from his or her day job: Take 10 for 150 gp! :)
EDIT: If your wizard made use of the Inner Beauty trait (which can also apply to Craft skills), he could achieve +25, which would net him 100 gp by taking 10.

I was under the impression that Crafter's Fortune wouldn't work on day job rolls since the guide says that spells don't affect dayjob rolls since a dayjob is stretched out over the course of an unspecified amount of time between scenarios.
Crafter's fortune is an exception because it lasts so long. Its been stated specifically. Too lazy to cite.

Good to know. Street Performer is a pretty awesome option as well.

Advanced Min/Max options: Play a certain scenario for an increase to day job rolls with a pregen, and apply it to a new level 1 character for +27 with the wizard or +22 with the street performer.
Please don't mention the scenario in this thread, as a lot of people hate spoilers. If anyone is really interested in the spoiler they can PM me or do a search for it. :)

If such a trait doesn't apply to day jobs, I don't see how Crafter's Fortune could. The trait allows you to make a single check with a +4 bonus, similar to how Crafter's Fortune allows you to make your next check with a +5 bonus. Since Inner Beauty can apply to Craft checks, which can take weeks, it doesn't make a lot of sense to restrict its use for day jobs.
Once per day, you may manifest your faith in your goddess and gain a +4 trait bonus to a single Bluff, Craft, Diplomacy, or Perform skill check. You can choose to use this trait immediately after making the skill check.
Compare and contrast with:
The target is struck by inspiration and gains a +5 bonus on its next Craft skill check.
Both apply to one skill check, and neither have a round/level or minute/level duration.

Benrislove went the same route i did
Couple interesting options i had not considered - Inner Beauty trait over lantern lodge trait.. @Adam i'm only aware of the day job boon in a 5-9 tier scenario...
I had intentionally left off crafter's fortune in my 22 as only a wiz can use it before getting a 2pp wand... but what wiz would choose it as one of its starters?... anyways...
1 rank
6 int (protege)
3 class
3 feat
2 feat
2 trait
1 trait
2 mwk tools
1 boon
5 luck/crafter's fortune
so... 26 with a potential 29 if Inner Beauty works.. plus if there is a level one scenario day job boon...
But with the street performer... i think Adam wins after the double up.

A couple notes here.
Which boon, and does it specify a type of bonus? because there is a decent chance it's circumstance (most boons are).
The traits don't stack, Inner beauty makes it +4 but it's still a trait bonus.
Also what is Protege from?.
Yeah Street performer maximizes gold though, well done Adam :) (Also inner beauty could come up when trying to fascinate or make a really challenging bluff check).
The best part about Adam's is you can drop the cha to 18, still have reasonable stats and still take 10 for 150g (assuming there is a boon that works). All it really costs is a feat and a trait.

You drop the gold to 500gp when applying a non-1st level chronicle to a new 1st level PC, but everything else remains the same (XP, fame/PP award, and item access). So, yes, you can "farm" boons in this way.
Can it be done? Yes
Is it in the spirit of PFS? No
Is it in the spirit of a min/max challenge? Probably! :D
