Ask Sir Alain Germande, Iconic Cavalier!

Off-Topic Discussions

It is I, Sir Alain the Awesome, and seeing as the silly little elf Merisiel started answering questions, I thought it was high past time to give correct ones for a change!
I must apologize for the picture: the gentleman at Paizo have not yet corrected their mistake of NOT having my own perfect, chiseled features placed among selectable images.
I must instead use this "Blackwood" or "Blackmont" or whatever his name is image. He won't mind, he's a peasant anyway. Bloody peasants...

Where did your arrow brackets go?

meh.... I despise you!!!!!

and you likely dont care

All of your poses seem to have some sort of breeze blowing your hair at just the right angle. Do you hire a wizard for that or is it just a part of being dashing? If so, what feat does one take to achieve this effect?

*muses* So This is what the Breeze cantrip was intended for...

I always imagined you adventuring accompanied by heroic strings and trumpets. Is there any truth to this?

What's your opinion on iconics that start a thread where they say they'll answer all your questions, and then not show back up to them?

Welcome to these boards, Sir Alain.

Tell me... what service did you perform to obtain your knightly title?

Merisiel is under the impression that Valeros would best you in a fight. I take it that you disagree with that assessment?

How will this thread not be shut down under the "Don't Be A Jerk" rule??

;)

Paizo Employee Creative Director

Ok!

After a bit of thought (and given the OP's not yet replied to the thread)...

I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread. I'd rather have the "Ask an iconic" threads be moderated and handled by Paizo staff or by people we've selected to represent the iconic in question. Call it "Creative Director quality control" or "The man stepping in to suppress folks" or whatever... but yeah.

Our iconics are in many ways our mascots, and I am kind of protective of their voices and representation here on these boards and in our products.
