We haven't gone yet. None of the smaller dealerships were open today, and I refuse to deal with the greedy salesmen that inhabit the larger dealerships. The mood I've been in lately, I'm afraid I wouldn't have much patience with them and probably decapitate a few of them just for the fun of it.
Our friend James, is coming over in the morning after henry gets home from work and has a chance to rest for a little bit before we go trekking all over town on our quest for a decent, semi reliable, vehicle.

I'm just tired....we just really need something to go right for a change. I'll probably go to bed soon. I'm gonna have to be with tomorrow so I can go car shopping and not be addle brained from lack of sleep.

Not only did our pockets get gouged, but I got stung by a bee as well. While looking at the cars. It was truly a horrifying day. But yes, we found a really decent vehicle with not horrible miles that actually runs well. It's a little more car than we were originally looking for, definitely more money, but it was the best deal we could find out of the 7 or 8 dealerships we went to. We go pick it up tomorrow.

So here's the tentative plan with the game:
I'd like to get Harakhty his first mythic tier. Once you return to the fort, it's going to be 2 weeks of downtime in game, so that I may soon bring back Skaar and (hopefully) Drago. Then we'll have a Cyna-centric storyline and get her her mythic tier. Skaar/Drago will be brought back in after that.
The only things I still need to figure out are how to get Drago or Alethiro a mythic tier (I've got a plan of sorts for Drago, but not the elf) and Arista's ascension (sorry, honey).
It's really hard to run a book adventure if the party consists of a rapist, a murderer, a gnome and a tortured dhampir :P I hope we can get through it, though.

I'm not really worried about getting a mythic tier. I just figured it would happen whenever it happens. It's something that has to evolve out of the story and that's fine.
Sorry I misunderstood your earlier post dear and woke you up to explain it to me.
I LOVE YOU!

Oooo Chapter 4? Exciting!

Ya know, all I wanted to do was make some brownies, but no. I sometimes really hate our apartment and it's temperamental fixtures. Almost every time I wanna do something in the kitchen when it's dark, the stupid light just flickers and wont come on.
I just want some brownies and they will come out better if I don't have to do it in the dark.
Skaar
Orcs like brownies too!

"But what it'll do to you, is just fine."
Arista
Well, all I had to do was complain publicly for my kitchen light to kick on. It sure can be stubborn. LOL
I make super brownies, from scratch. In fact, most of my goodies I make from scratch.
These are super fudge brownies with coconut and dark chocolate chips.

Dear Skaar if I could send some brownies to you I would. Henry is always saying that I get carried away and make too much. Like when I make my cookies, I can never just make a couple dozen. It's usually more like 10 dozen or more. Oh well....I better go back to work soon.
Arista
I made toooo much brownie batter and ended up having to use two pans to cook them in. Good grief
Once they cool they will get a light dusting of powder sugar, as if they aren't already rich enough. LOL

I don't want to give people the wrong idea though. I don't just bake sweets. I make other food too that actually has nutritional value. Just tonight we started on the savory Venison Stew that I made in the crock pot a couple nights ago.
Had to let bambi defrost a little first, then cut it into cubes, marinated it overnight or so, then cooked it together with a whole bunch of other stuff like vegetables, diced tomatoes, and kidney beans. After it cooked for a while I added some chili seasoning just for a little extra kick.
I love cooking with my crockpot. The meat always comes out so tender. I'm always experimenting with different things too. Like I said, I need to get back to work.

Hey, I can babble whenever the hell I please. LOL Just ask Henry, I do it all the time. I just thought I would be nice and apologize for it last night since it was so much random text. :oP
Thanks for asking about my PT. It's actually going very well. I've been working at it very hard and today when I went back to see her she said I've been making remarkable progress. I got an A+ from her today and some more exercises to add to the ones I'm already doing at home. Today I showed her how I've progressed with my range of motion, did some simple exercises, worked my shoulder on some of their machines, used the little elastic streatchie bands to do different exercises. Then they put these little electrodes on me and sent some electricity through my muscles while having an ice pack on top of it. At some point the machine just shut off in the middle of the treatment and when I told my therapist she just smiled and said it was because of my "magnetic" personality. hehehe
Anyways, not bad overall. I'm determined to go back to work after I see the stupid Ortho Dr on the 26th.
Again, I apologize for the long post.

Yeah, I'm happy about it. It's just the whole process of having to take time to heal is getting frustrating. This is nothing though, I don't know how long exactly this particular game has been going on or when it started so I don't know how much about me henry has said, but I had brain surgery last year and just bulldozed my way through that recovery. I'm always in a hurry to do stuff and I hate being cooped up at home.

Again, apologies. Car broke down on the freeway this morning. The gas gauge hadn't been working correctly, so when I thought we were okay, I was actually running on fumes. Had to deal with a belligerent state trooper and take the car back to the dealership. They owned up to the mistake and fixed it, but we had to scramble to get a ride out there. I will have something up shortly.
GM Henry Fortuna
It wasn't something that we could catch easily and the dealership might have missed it as well. It was the fuel pump. They also found some abrasion on the rotors so they replaced those as well. But it's working quite well and the gas gauge is accurate again. I'm just crossing my fingers that all is well.
Harakhty Suntooth
Just my $.02, but any problem - large or small - when you buy a car from a dealership which doesn't make it apparent immediately becomes a big problem. For them, if you're persuasive.
Arista
OH yeah we did, like I was gonna let them get away with that. It died on the freeway, anything could have happened. He could have had an accident, he could have been killed. I didn't go with him in the morning to the dealership cuz I woulda strangled the guy that sold it to us. Instead, I went with him to pick it up and talked to the salesman after I had time to calm down. I asked if there were any other problems that we should know about and he said no, so I told him I would be holding him to that promise.

Sorry for not posting last night, last minute invite to a table top Scion game. I think I might actually have a gaming group now. We'll see how it goes.
