Like, I can just wow....I barely get in with the group and already it's like, WHAM..super intense stuff. It's like a really good scifi movie that actually has a story line.

Being the total Newbie in this group I can't even imagine how difficult that was.

Sometimes it takes more courage to know when you have to run away, than stay and fight. Especially when so much is on the line and you know, respect, and have a connection with these other people. It was a tough choice, but the right one.

This whole ordeal made me think of a song and now I can't get it out of my head. I forget who did the song though since it's been so long since I heard it. My parents were really into country and gospel when I was growing up, they always listened to one or the other. It bugs me when I get a song stuck in my head and I can't even remember who wrote it or anything. I'm not even sure what it's called. I only remember a few verses but it goes something like,
"You gotta know when to hold em', know when to fold em',
know when to walk away, and know when to run.
You never count your money, while you're sittin' at the table,
there'll be time enough for countin' when the dealings done."
That's all I remember of it. Don't really know why I remembered now, but there ya go. Does anyone recognize this song, or know who did it?

It must just be a sign that the pain meds are kicking in. LOL
Hmm. I might know. I'll confirm after the gym.

That would be GREAT! Once I know who did it and can find it and listen to it maybe it'll go away.

If memory serves, the song is called 'The Gambler' and the artist is Kenny Rogers. Hold a moment and I'll check.
Edit: Damn it! Too slow.

That is fantastic, now I can listen to it and finally get it out of my damn head. Got enough stuff buzzing around in there as is.

It had to to with a card game, figures it would be called The Gambler. I prob heard it on a movie at some point. What was that one movie...oh yeah, Maverick.

When henry gets up I'll just have him find it on the lap top for me so I can hear it.

I don't like the icky internet. I don't ever google anything either. I get lost in it. The only stuff I do on this machine is this game thing, facebook to an extent, and check emails. Sometimes I have to use the infernal beast for work stuff since they are all going to computerize everything, but oh well.

Oh yeah, thats the stuff right there. 1978 was only 3 years after I was born. LOL They listened alot to Kenny Rodgers, some folk song people whom I can't remember all of their names, and some singer my mom called, "The Man in Black"? I think she was talkin bout Johnny Cash. My dad still likes to put on their records when we go up there visiting.

Yuppers, he didn't get much today though cuz with the MRI and all it was pretty hectic. I had to be there at 9:30 this morning and then this afternoon we had to go to his moms house so we could have my birthday dinner with her. I can hear his alarm going off now though, so he should be getting up pretty soon.
Sounds like a long day.
You should hit the snooze for him. =P

He'll drag his ol bones outta the bed eventually. I don't want him to have to rush to get ready for work and forget his badge like he did last night. Actually, one of his coworkers, another guard, her name is Pam, very nice lady. Saw that he looked like a complete wreck, told him to go home and not worry about it and worked his shift for him. She said she needed the extra money and would explain things to their supervisor. So, he actually got sleep last night. He just needed a nap.
Yep, but now I don't have time for everything :(
Anyway, everyone goes up to level 4 and I'll continue this as soon as I can.

I wish falling as a paladin wasn't so severe. Gregario was already shaky in his faith before this and I could see the death of Aurelea and Godrick's defeat as the catalyst to push him over the edge.
I miss Greyguard from 3.5. It was a good pseudo-fallen prestige class for paladins.
You could switch from Iomedae to Ragathiel
M Vanara: AC 19 /15/14 / HP 30 / F +8* R +7* W +11* / Init. +7 / Perc. +13/ Sense Motive +16 Inquisitor (Spellbreaker) / 6
HP: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Or just go straight to antipaladin. It's all the rage around here.
Eh, Ragathiel is a bit too murderous for my tastes.
The Golarion dieties in general don't do much for me. I find FR and Greyhawk pantheons a lot more inspiring. =/

One can always find inspiration in Calistria!

I must say while most inquisitor spells aren't as useful as they could be, they are quite entertaining.
Is one of those spells remove meanness?
Well, I am as abundant in my permissiveness as I am in my cruelty, so if you want to introduce some new deities or a class that would work, I am open to discussion.
Well considering Gregario is supposed to be my temporary character until Skaar finishes his incredible journey, I'm not going to spend my DM good will points on him.
He'll just plug along as a less enthusiastic paladin.
Aw, I don't like "less enthusiastic".

Heh, I mean he'll be less enthusiastic about paladining. I'll be plenty enthusiastic.
Shouldn't you be getting ready for work? /finger wag

I don't even know how Arista will react to everything. We will have to wait and see once the story picks up again. I have a feeling it's gonna be very interesting watching as she tries to make sense of everything around her.
The hero out-of-time is a good trope. Lots of material to work with. =)

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be one crazy ride. I don't think Harakhty is being mean or anything really. I think he's just trying to his job. He's not here to coddle anyone or boost anyone's ego. I think he puts alot on himself, when he really doesn't have to since there are others that can help carry the load. His intentions seem to be good, but sometimes he just comes across as gruff because I think maybe he is just afraid of getting close to people. Why? I'm not very sure about that, but she doesn't know anyone here well enough to take guesses as to their motivations so far.
