EDIT: Oh, what exactly is 'Kava Musk'?
Twigs
Lastly, I need to know if I have previous experience with Bastagar and Twigs. Whether you have been at court or are even notorious, please let me know what I would know of you.
I'll have to give this one some thought. I only noticed yesterday the gaping hole in my backstory where Nithveil and the Fey Court are concerned. Compared to the other fey-touched characters of the group I'd left my dealings in the forest intentionally vague.
Joana
Halla - obviously waiting for profile, but no rush. I know you've been swamped and had a sick kid recently Joana, so get to it when you're able.
I actually got her all but done yesterday; just didn't have time to get the profile up and running. Should have her functional within a few hours.
EDIT: In re your social skills house rule, Mark, do you mean that for, say, Diplomacy, I'd add my skill ranks, class skill bonus, Cha bonus, and Wis bonus together for the total Diplomacy bonus? (And, by extension, that everyone gets the benefits of Intimidating Prowess for free?)

Cool on the saex and Berserkr Iron (worth a shot for the latter nei?)
Skane is pretty much ready to rok and roll - just missing appearance and that custom trait we discussed :)
Wondered if that trait might give the reason behind his beat up body? History of Violence type idea? However his exile status would also fit nicely here...
Have faith you'll come up with some wee gems o' nefariousness :)
As for skills, Skane brings to the following to the table:
Intimidate +8 (under the House Rule)
Perception +1
Sense Motivation +2
Survival +5
Swim +3
Halla Ingendóttir
Skane, shouldn't you have three feats, or did you take an option that trades away the human racial bonus feat at 1st level?
Character sheet is up, btw, but I'm still tweaking it to display the way I like it.
Elghund
Out of curiosity, how big (height, mostly) is Elghund?
The Orc entry states that the typical Orc male stands around 6' and rather solid. Given Elghund has more robust physical stats than the average orc, I'd put him around 6'3 and around 'two pick handles wide'.
I'm thinking very much LOTR Uruk-Hai.

Annalisa - yep, have a look at the Handle Animal skill and pick out the tricks you'd like your hund to know. He gets seven including the extra 1.
Immersion in water within 1 round of exposure washes the musk off; otherwise the effect decreases by 1 range increment per day (four times normal range after 1 day, three times normal range after 2 days, and so on) until the creature is again at normal scent levels.
Joana - yep, the social skill is essentially treated as being tied to both abilities. So yes, everyone gets the effects of Intimidating Prowess for free. I'll be adjusting DCs on my side of the screen to suit the change as well.
Elghund
Glad about the social skills, because by RAW the overgrown half orc crazy man would have Intimidate skill of -2.
At least now he's 3.
With an Int penalty an a Cha penalty though I suspect he wont be the Diplomat!
I still find it odd that half orcs get a bonus to intimidate, but the full orc doesn't :p

Halla - I've had a looksee and you've everything bar the inherited item and skaldic verse. So I think we're ready to rock.
And the Ulfen thread is now up At this Link! Once you get a post in there it should set up the campaign on your campaign tracker and make things a little easier to keep on top of.
A few quick notes to keep in mind:
- The 'common' language of the town is Skald. So unless otherwise denoted that is what people will be speaking in. Taldan is as much as foreign tongue to these folks as Osiriani or Polyglot.
- I tend to use the spoilered checks for some knowledge skills - but that isn't mean to be exhaustive. If you want to check something out or use a skill, state it in thread and make the roll and I'll respond in kind.
- On social skills - I tend to RP the characters on how they naturally react to the words and actions stated. The social skills are ways to either re-inforce your words, or change their minds away from their natural mind-set. Again feel free to roll whenever you like (though generally only once per conversation) - or I'll prompt you when it's more important.
- Other than that I'll run through details like combat when we get to them.
In general the Ulfen group have all been in town for a few days - so you'll know each other by acquaintance only. So you've an idea of name and appearance - but not anything on written backstory or real desires. So all of the interparty get to know you is yet to play out.
Questions as always are always welcome.
Fey group will be up this afternoon my time (in 3-5 hours).

Excellent! Hilde, let us say we have not met, for Bastagar has never seen Nithveil (not for lack of searching, mind you). So far taken by the Bleaching, the fey and his fellow gnomes barely recognize him as fey-kind, and the forests guardians have driven him away each time.
The Halfhand
I don't see an overview for the halfhand's stats 'n stuff, but since we've started I guess you have. We all good?
Skäne Ingvârssonn
A bonus verses fear or counter intimidation is something was considering. Seeing Skane very much as our Caul Shivers (as I touched on in my backstory titbits) so going for granite hearted and a frosty demeanor.

Scrazzleboks... thought I'd hit everyone up - but missed you out Halfhand. My apologies.
The Halfhand: - On point buy I count 27? - 17 into Int, 5 each to Dex and Con and then Cha and Wis balance out?
Other than that it all looks good to me.
Klåda Oil: harvested from a plant that you have seen but once, this green and thin sap creates a terrible burning sensation and itch where it touches flesh.
2 vials, you can use one of two ways. One - any creative way where it would seem useful. Two - as part of a standard action to escape a grapple, where it gives you a +5 bonus on your attempt; and if successful sickens the grappler for 1d6 rounds.
Frigid Inkpot: your original supply of ink long gone and inkwell shattered during a fall, you've had to improvise. God knows if you remember what it was originally made of... but it works.
When using this inkpot, your ink remains liquid regardless of the temperature outside.
Your spellbook will get some niftier abilities as you level up.

I noticed the link earlier to the game's thread for Team Fey didn't work.
Here's another link which might?
The Halfhand
Sweet. This makes me happy.
The stats should be 25 total. Here's the number-crunching for them:
Str 11 (+1)
Dex 15 (+7)
Con 15 (+7)
Int 17 (+13)
Wis 7 (-4)
Cha 11 (+1)
Then Middle Age takes -1 off all physical, +1 to all mental, then +2 int from human for a final array of 10/14/14/20/8/12
It's 25, on my count. But then, I've never been good at basic maths.

Klo - please still throw up your arrival, just wanted to get the big post out of the way before sleep time for me :)

I ask because I'm looking forward to the time when Kló realizes that the orc (whom he has 6 inches on) is actually more powerful than himself.

Hilde's speech patterns follow her fey upbringing. Please let me know if it's annoying.
I find it brilliant, and take no issue with you keeping it up as long as you can!
Of course, I couldn't complain, what with playing a dwarf 'n all. :)
Skäne Ingvârssonn
I like it... very cool concept and fits nicely with the heart of stone that is Mr Ingvarssonn :)

It seems like it could be fun. Don't take the Halfhand berating her for it as a sign of my personal displeasure, though. He's just a meanie.

Stalk away if you wish - I trust you to be adult enough about it to partition away player vs character knowledge. Plus I'll be tailoring encounters as well.
For example where the REDACTED is in the AP it will be a REDACTED for the Ulfen and maybe an extra REDACTED for the fae :P
Post will be later after grommets bedtimes when I can concentrate.
DM - Voice of the Voiceless
:P
At any rate - I hope it's showing out a little bit already the different direction and tone that I'm planning to take the two threads into. Never fear... there will be blood and unseelie fae enough for all on both sides... but for the now I am enjoying writing one scene with two shades of paint.

Aye, that first battle was crazy, wasn't it?
I don't think we would've beaten off those crazy monsters if it weren't for Hilde's timely crit and that lucky failed save against Cause Fear.
:)

Thanks for waiting! I've been trying to type a post all morning but it's a hard thing to do inconspicuously on top of a ladder onto a mobile, and the circumstances kept changing... I decided to just wait til I had a keyboard, books and wikipedia on hand. My book on superstitions tells me that to meet a weasel at the start of a journey, unless you inquire about it's health and refer to it as "my little noble woman." (I wish I were making this up.)

Halla's avatar is fantastic!
Oddly, it wasn't even among my top three on my first pass through the female avatars. I think it's going to work nicely, though.
I'm going to request that if anything explicitly spoileriffic needs to show up in the Discussion thread it be tagged as such. I'm actually not adult enough to partition player vs character knowledge, not without torturing myself over 'what my PC would have done if I hadn't actually known what was coming' anyway, and I have more fun when I'm not obsessively examining myself for metagaming.
