this started as a joke and i just wanted to see if this was possible within the rules.
so the combo is you get a sap (nl weapon) and you cast masterwork transformation on it obivioily making it masterwork.
a master work item can be enchanted and thus you enchant the mw sap with masterwork transformation.
thus what ever you touch, atk,or sunder with the sap becomes masterwork.
and sense it dose nl dmg it dosent hurt the item.
and you have free masterwork every thing.
opinions any one?

The material component for the spell is magical reagents worth the cost difference between a normal item and the equivalent masterwork item (typically 300 gp for a weapon, 150 gp for armor, or 50 gp for a tool). If an object has multiple masterwork options (such as a double weapon, or a spiked shield that could be made masterwork as a weapon or armor), you choose one option of the object to affect (though you can cast the spell again to affect another option).

What?
Do you mean a use activated magic item that casts masterwork transformation?
If so, that is in the realm of swords of true strike and cloaks of continual mage armor.
i ment that the weapon just makes things masterwork as an ability when you strike something with it.
but judging by your comment its out of the question cause to my knowlege sword of true strike is not possible or fair for any reason.
i just thought the idea was funny and never assumed practical.

Whatever you struck with it would have to by lying in a pile of 300gp and you'd have to keep smacking it for an hour. (material components and casting time still required!) heheheheh.
lol well that completly nerfs that idea. too bad i was gonna have a feild day annoying the gm next game.
back to drawing bored i go.

Well, if you wanted to make this custom item you could always pay 50 times the Material component cost as is typical for enchanting items that give you unlimited uses of a costly spell. If you want the masterwork transformation to work on any item that'll be 50x300 (greatest cost) = 15,000 plus the base enhancing cost (3*2*2000 = 12,000 for a 2nd level spell), or 27,000 total. You'd need to use it on 90 weapons to break even, or 180 if you take into account the fact that items are sold at half price.
As a custom item, would still need to be approved by the GM, and I'd expect the GM to add a maximum uses per day, or require that the item takes the full hour to activate that casting the spell takes, in order to limit possible abuses.

But I really want to see a character do this... Standing around on some street corner with a bag of rocks pounding on a pile of coins and a dagger screaming 'be masterwork' for 60 minutes while people just stare at him like he's loony.
Even better give this item to a mundane crafter and tell him it will enchant the weapon instead even though it wont.

The real way to do this is Masterwork Transformation + Blood Money.

Does blood money work on spells with a longer casting time than one round given that the components created by it disappear after that time?

You forgot about the material component cost of the Masterwork Transformation spell, and the 1 hour casting time of that spell.
