I generally like reach spell, but you should consider just buying it as a rod. It is rather cheap, and 3 uses should take you through a day.
Some useful witch touch spells:
Bestow Curse - Great spell, and very witchy
Touch of Idiocy - Great against casters, and 1d6 wis penalty can be a nice addition to the range of penalties to will saves, the witch got.
Excrutiating Deformation - I haven't actually used it yet, but an offensive transmutation spell is nice against those enemies with a lot of other immunities.
The later levels also have a couple of useful touch spells each.

I find Reach Spell is better for spontaneous casters like Oracle or Sorcerer because it makes your character infinitely more versatile. For casters that must prepare spells, it's still good, but not quite as good, IMO, since you have to use a higher spell slot when you prepare it and you don't necessarily know what range you'll actually need.
A rod would be nice as it doesn't affect the spell level (so you can just make them all long range), but you said in your other thread that you likely won't have access to rods.
