My group is in Riddleport and I am setting up a fight against a halfling pirate and crew. It will be on land. Just need a cool name :)
Some I thought of,
Pirate Half-pint - kinda lame :)
Pirate Grub
any suggestions?
thanks
For what it's worth, I had a goblin rogue a long time ago in WoW named Mia Anklbiter. (Had to cut out the first "e" to fit character limits.) Quite silly, but at least the name served as personal amusement for a while. :D

Captain Jimbeaux Pegteaux! His toes are made of wood and he speaks in a ridiculous French accent.
The microburst of monte-cristo
Good ideas so far, thanks all.
Liking, Stunty the mauler so far :)
Anklbiter is good.
Captain Moregun
Beelo Thebelt
Regin Philbis
Iunno. Gimme some other attributes to work with other than "short pirate" and I can come up with something good. What weapon does he use?
Lanky longbones... He'd be particularly short and particularly fat
I was thinking shortbeard, but I'm not sure halflings can grow beards...
Toebeard?
Toebeard, LOL.
Rynjin - good idea. I have not come up with the rest of the character. However I do not have guns in my game. Probably sometype of small sword or maybe a mace. any ideas are welcome.
Oh god... Star Trek reference...
And the ship is the HMS Lollipop... She's a good ship
And her crew is the lollipop guild...
Stop it brain! stoooop!

Starburns. Shaves his sideburns into Stars.
Well then it's settled! Eddie Longshank!
Is it bad that I want him to be called the Dread Pirate Iago
He doesnt have a parrot on his shoulder.... He is the parrot on the shoulder.
He doesnt just wear a feather in his cap. Nearly his whole outfit is parrotfeathers, so much so that people won't realize that the huge pirate who he likes to carry him around isn't the actual Dread Pirate Iago...
When the party meets him the description would be of this huge wall of a pirate with what could quite possibly be the ugliest parrot they've ever seen.
Like a kokopo... giant 50 pound fat flightless parrot from 'Last Chance to See'

Big Henri, for instance.
Although, if you want to go sideways with a name suggested above, and the PCs know in advance that they are going to meet the legendary halfling pirate 'Toebeard,' having him be a beardless halfling who wears a necklace made from the big toes of everyone who has ever wounded him, would make for quite the impression...

Man, I'm putting Toebeard into my game!

LOL! Love this!
Hey all, thanks for the great suggestions. You all are always come up with great ideas :)
The Dredd Pirate Toebeard will soon be ready to take on the party. It will probably be 2 months(2 games) or so before the party makes it back to town to face him :)

To quote Muppet Treasure Island:
"Long John Silver?"
"AYE-AYE, SIR!"
"Short Stack Stevens?"
"AYE!"
Captain Shinsnap
Captain Chancy of the Low Seas
Blundermuffin (Thinks the name should cause great fear and respect and kills anyone who makes fun of it.)
Half-Mast
Half-Pint (Heavy Drinker)
Stingray Stan
Alestrom (Changed from the band name Alestorm. Supposed to sound like Maelstrom)
Land-Hater Higgins
Landlocked Leonid or Leonid the Landlocked
Torthos the Titan
Captain Pegbreaker - Because he's known for breaking the wooden peg legs of tall folk for the fun of it!
Lord Stewwie the mighty tall who's flag bears a griffen rearing aboce his ship aptly named Dead Lois
Limpy "Little Hook" Rumgin
Bob
Pirates are notoriously uncreative when it comes to names. Shipwreck Bay. Shipwreck Cove. Shipwreck Island.

I see that the Dread Pirate (insert name) was already used.
Of course you could always use something like The Eel or the Dolphin for a name.

In our Riddleport-based pirate campaign, there's a halfling character - real name Tommy Burrowbank, aka Tommy Blacktoes, aka Tommy Spats, aka "Mr. Nipples." Heck, here, use his stats...
Going off of what Trinite said...
Bilbones Bodybaggins.
I'm going to use that in a game...
Captain Crook
Jack hummingbird
Captain More-gain
the dread pirate 'Nobeard'
Foul feet
Twinkle Toes (an effeminate, well-dressed and groomed dandy)
Timmy the slug
Penelope Pigsticker (gotta have at least one female)
'too tall' Fraggins
Halfast Overboard
Grogg Gangplank
Kraken Keelhaul
Or, you could appropriate the name of the most infamous clan of Halflings in Living Greyhawk: Gonagin. However, that will require the use of a proper alias for the first name (Allredd E. or Otto B., etc.)
