I am working on a high level halfling fighter by the name of Pollivar Mormont who is known for his dancing skills--chiefly his ability to dance around larger foes while hacking off their legs with his battleaxe in gory fashion.

What would a good nickname be for just such a character?

Once I've finished him, I'll have his stats uploaded and posted here later if that helps.

The Hobbler

The Wee Wacker

Pollivar "Knee Biter" Mormont

I suggest choosing a nickname that has nothing to do with his race, class, or fighting style. Base the nickname on his personal history or personality. It will be much more interesting, and will avoid sounding like a silly fantasy name.

Pollivar "Redgeyser" Mormont

Ankle Hacker

Twinkletoes

Swan

Half-Pint Sized Slasher

Polly the Lumberjack

Dave

Choppy McLeg Remover

Big Pol

Acstugrynd

I could think of more but I think I'll let you bask in this current batch of genius before I blow your mind any further.

Grand Lodge

"Caltrops".

"Pins and Needles".

Hmmm I have nothing worthy to add (yet), but my favourites so far in order are:
Caltrops
Knee-Biter
Choppy McLeg Remover

More news at 5.

El Castratador

Big Pol

Grand Lodge

"Boot Straps"

Really liking "Caltrops" so far. "Choppy McLeg Remover" made me laugh. Won't likely be a name so much as a war cry.

What else ya' got?

That's it!

Name him Dolby.

I have already considered this myself. It fits what I'm gong for, but I fear it too plain (and an obvious ripoff what's more).

Or were you asking if it's related to my halfling fighter build advice thread? If so, then yes.

Clever. I seriously doubt any of my fellows will get it though.

"Footloose".

"Red-Heeled Jack"

Here he is everybody!

If he moves or steps into an opponent, then the opponent misses him (allowing Sidestep), he then activates his Lightning Stance and Wind Stance feats.

"I used to be an adventurer until I took a Mormont axe to the knee." :D

The little blur then hacks away at his opponent's undercarriage, generally inflicting more than enough pain to cause most people to drop what they're doing (Stunning Assault) while onlookers turn away in disgust (Dreadful Carnage).

So far I'm liking how the mechanics backup the concept.

I see that last name, and 'the bear' pops into my head...

Borrowing a bit from the first suggestion:

Polli "Hobble-foot" Mormont
