In Society play I know you can upgrade you weapons and armor enchantments if you have the gold and prestige to do so but I'm concerned about paying the difference between wondrous items such of a Cloak of Resistance.
Question: Is it legal to pay the difference between a Cloak of Resistance +1 and a Cloak of Resistance +2 to upgrade the wondrous item or is this only for weapons and armor?

The answer to this question and many others can be found in the PFS FAQ, which is presently http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fq but if that URL changes you can find it at the FAQ page, http://paizo.com/paizo/faq which also contains many other useful documents.
You may wish to check the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play, a free download available here: http://paizo.com/products/btpy84k4
And of course there is always the Additional Resources page: http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about/additionalResources

I've looked and am still unclear if the various "Belts" BELT OF GIANT STRENGTH +2 could be upgraded to a BELT OF PHYSICAL MIGHT +2 and then upgraded to a BELT OF PHYSICAL PERFECTION +2.
I am a Math teacher not a Rule's Lawyer or an English teacher.
Could someone give me a simple "Yes" or "No" answer?
Confused.

Yes, in the case of the classic stat belts/headbands, you can expand them to include more ability scores than you started with (like going from STR to STR/CON), as long as the bonus amount stays the same (you can go from STR+2 to STR/CON+2, but can't ever end up with STR+4/CON+2 or whatever).
Thanks, Jiggy.
