I am kicking around an idea of having my Shattered Star game happen AT THE SAME TIME as the first 3 APs and tying them in together.
For Example:
Ideas comments suggestions?

Once you get to certain parts of the APs things move rather quickly from one book to the next. At higher levels having a mage to teleport the group around can fix some of the "need to be elsewhere right this second". At the early levels though your travel times will be rough. You'll be commuting from Riddleport to Sandspoint to Korvosa, hundreds of miles between each.
Aside from travel time theres also level considerations. Run through one AP to get to the next and you'll be starting that next AP over leveled. Now do that again two times for the last two APs.
Not saying you can't thread it all together somehow, but it sounds like a serious case of overcomplication if you do. An insanely large amount of work for the DM to juggle, backed up by a potentially bored group of players devastating most everything in there path from being over leveled. Or dying horribly because they're underleveled to keep them at pace for the next 3 APs.

I have to agree with Vexous' assesment. As awesome as that would be to pull it all together, it would be a logistical nightmare. What might be a better idea is to run one of the APs and then use others as background for a SEQUEL that would tie all four (4) APs together. Players could get clues from by gathering information on what happened during the other APs that would help in solving the sequel. Anyway, that's how I would do it. You can do what you want to do.

I think the intention of the OP was to run the three APs simultaniously... to 4 diffrent adventuring groups (played by the same players), probably rotating between APs so that evrey 4th session is of the same AP.
While the idea might be cool, it requires SOOO much time to play through that you need to prepare yourself to the eventualty that you will never complete this MEGA campaign.

What dartnet ment, from my point of view, is the idea of running only Shattered Star, but in game at the same time as the other three campaigns.
I would wait to read the entire Shattered Star AP before trying something like that, but for now, I think the intention of ths AP is to revisit old locations, meet old friends etc, so your idea kind of ruins this intention.

I'm actually planning to incorporate elements and locations from RotRL and CotCT into my Shattered Star campaign. None of our group have played them and they're too darned cool not to use. I'm linking them together with related, but not directly connected, plotlines that will overlap and thread through the search for the Sihedron shards.
This all sparked off when I noticed the similarity between the goals of the Forever Man (from the Magnimar sourcebook) and Ileosa's ultimate goal in the final act of CotCT.
