I've been doing a lot of searching online over the past few weeks on the matter, but have had a fair amount of difficulty.
Reaper Miniatures have two minis listed as colossal, but I can't find any product dimensions, and since neither come with a base, am uncertain if they are actually colossal by PF standards.
McFarlane Dragons seem to only come in the 6" (tall) variety... Safari LTD doesn't have any dimensions I can find, nor does Horrorclix, Mage Knight or Privateer Press.
All I really want is a mini that is approx. 6x6 on the grid, no specific type or creature. I would really prefer not to resort to cardboard scraps or bath & body candles >.< Does anyone own one of the Reaper minis (or other brand), or own a figure that is the right size?

One of the guys in my group does a lot of fabrication at a local FabLab. He cut and labeled us a bunch of plastic squares of the various creature sizes. We have a stack of about 20 huge sized bases and another as many of large. Two each of colossal and gargantuan. We then just grab the most appropriate mini out of the bucket and put it on top.

I have some dragons I bought from Hobby Lobby or Michaels that work as colossal for me. They may technically be too big or slightly too small, but I just use a bit of black foam cut to the size I want and use that for the "size" of the monster and then place that under the mini (I use that term loosely) as a base.
I've also made a couple of dragons that work as colossal out of sculpey clay and I've made a couple dragons of that size using cheap velociraptor miniatures that I've attached dragon wings onto.

I'm not sure if they're exactly what you're looking for, but I've used Top Fin Balinese Dragon aquarium decorations as Colossal minis before. They're smaller than the WotC Red Dragon, but still slightly larger than the WotC Gargantuans. I based them 8x8, but 6x6 should work fine. Link
Also, I have that Reaper spider. In Pathfinder terms, I'd put it on the small side of Gargantuan. It fits well on a 4x4 base, but it's dwarfed by the WotC dragons.

Go to your FLGS and see if they have an unboxed or open Colossal miniture and see if they will let you make a size tracing of the base. You should be able to go to most craft stores and get some a sturdy plastic circles of the same dimensions.
Then hit up your local dollar stores and see what you can find for beasties that will roughly fill the base, glue them on and there you go.
My gm finds a lot os great humanoid thingies and dragon thingies of various sizes in the dollar store toy isles and they are cheap as all get out.
Or you can check into Paizo's paper mini's. I think Paizo makes them...

You know what would be the easiest thing to do? Take clear cube 6x6x6 inches (I think that I've seen a similarly shaped container for dice here) and fill it with clear jelly. Colosal Gelatinous cube will be a lot of fun and you can even eat it when it's throroughly destroyed... and if the jelly is not too thick you can even let the cube to engulf the heroes (properly bathed before the battle of course) :D
More permanent and less eadible results could be achieved with clear silicone of course.

With regards to the base itself, Litko could be an option. You can use their BaseMaker to determine what type of material you want to use for a base. (Note: although the BaseMaker shows the smallest quantity of bases to be 10, you can e-mail them and a request a quantity less than 10 (even just 1).
A 6"x6" plywood base is $10.
A 6"x6" black acrylic base is $18.

Y'all realize the OP was from 2 years ago, right?
Although the link to the Safari dimensions are useful.
General trick with very large minis is just put it on the right size base. Often a mini that will work for gargantuan can work for colossal as well... just base it properly.
Kor, while it's nice to get a custom base, you can often find 6x6 pieces of plywood or other hobby materials at craft stores and hardware stores for much cheaper.

I have the Reaper Bones miniatures. The only one that is truly Colossal (fits on a 6x6 base) is Kaladrax. Nethyrmaul and Cthulhu both fit on Gargantuan (4x4 bases). However, as someone else mentioned, size can also depend on how you base it. Even though Cthulhu fits on a 4x4 base, I glued mine to a 6x6 base and call him Colossal anyway.
