Is there any way for a player character to gain either continuous or at least long-duration Fast Healing? Something that lasts more than a minute outside of combat. Longer is better obviously, as well as earlier level access.
The method should be available to a typical PC, so a class feature or magic item is cool, but an exotic race probably isn't.

An Oracle of Life can grant everyone in their party Fast Healing 5. ...kinda. The Oracle of Life eats all of the damage that they heal.
*random aside* I love this ability; my oracle of life lurks in the background, the rest of the party gets beat up, then I channel energy or use cure spells on my self and the entire party loves me for it. The role is not for everyone, but there can be some satisfaction in being an amazing healer.
Might not be what you're looking for?

I assume this is for the fast healer feat? If so make sure it is a magical source not Ex: or something. Ring of regen is the best way to go, or infernal healing on wands.

Holy crap, I thought fast healer was pretty bad, but with an oracle of life in the party... Good grief.
EDIT: An Oracle of Life can heal as a free action (Life Bond) a standard action (What healers normally do) a move action (Quick Channel Energy) a swift action (Combat Healer) and your friends move action, moving through your square (Energy Body)
Fast healer with that... Sheesh. I should let the rest of my party know.

Undead anatomy IV, 8th lvl wizard spell
Giant Form I, 7th lvl wizard spell (regenerate)
cacodaemon familiar, either as a native outsider or souldrinker PrC can give you fast healing through consumption of soul gems.
A demoniac of shax (13) or a character with demonic obedience (16) can get
fast healing whenever he would suffer from a bleeding effect, which could be self inflicted. A wounding weapon or rogue talent / ninja trick might be some of the easiest ways to benefit from this.

or infernal healing on wands.
Did they remove the requirement of "worshipper of Asmodeus" for Infernal Healing?

Life Link (Su): As a standard action, you may create a bond between yourself and another creature. Each round at the start of your turn, if the bonded creature is wounded for 5 or more hit points below its maximum hit points, it heals 5 hit points and you take 5 hit points of damage.
Life link doesn't allow you to heal as a free action. It simply heals the linked target for 5HP while you take 5 damage. Also, I'm not sure you were implying that all of actions could take place in the same round, but if you were then you'll have to remember healing with Energy Body by walking through can only effect one target a round.

Healing Factor from The Genius Guide to Horrifically Overpower Feats from Super Genius Games gives you fast healing equal to 1/3 your total HD (minimum fast healing 1). Just remember, it's a Horrifically Overpowered feat, so....yeah.

I'm toying with giving the Ceric a need boot for Channeling and lettingt hem (Cleric only, not Nercromancer or Life Oracle or anyone that happens to have Channel Energy) wither the ability to grant Fast Healing instead of or in addition to the healing from the Channel. If it is instead off, it would be Fast Heaing 1 for every 1d6 they normall Channel, but I'm not so sure on the time frame. Any mechanic I can think of so far is either way to short or way too long, at early or low levels. So I'm tempted to just say something like 5 + Wis mod rounds per attempt.
This would aso buff the in combat healing, BUT leave a sense of danger and threat of death that I think Channel Energy and abundent healing introduces (and I hate).
If it was in addition to healing, it would b something like 1/2 the d6's are Fast healing 1, and last for Wis Mod rounds. So a 16 Wis Cleric that normally channels 4d6, would heal 2d6 immediatly, and grant Fast Healing 2 for 3 rounds.
In all cases, this only aplies to the "to heal" aspect of Channel Energy, and does work on anyting that the channel would normally heal.

Level 2 Alchemist : Tumor familiar.
With a one dip in life oracle (and the life link revelation), you'll never see your party use a wand of CLW again.
That wouldn't work. The Alchemist/Oracle is the one making the Life Link, not the Tumor. The Tumor gains fast healing 5, but the Alchemist does not.

I was wondering just that. I mean, I suppose if I had a way to get my familiar to cast Shield Other on myself, that could work, but otherwise it doesn't seem to.
I like the cracked ioun stone. Slow, but always active.
Cacodaemon is... interesting. Unfortunately, it's only 1 round/hit dice, so it's not really any better than just casting Infernal Healing.
Laughing at the Horrifically Overpowered Feats book :)

Better than the ring:
Boots of the Earth for 5,000 gp.Gives Fasthealing 1.
Question:
Does the feat trigger each round of healing?
