What are some sample grippli names? I noticed there weren't any in the Advanced Race Guide.
Make a bunch of croaking noises and then write them out phonetically.
THIS could give a hint ^_^
I've played a grippli called Prince Deepbelly, son of King Thundercroak and Queen Cloudfoot.

Basically as Petty Alchemy suggested, go for kennings (is that the right word?) or word combinations, and use lots of frog-ish and swamp-ish terminology. Umbral Reaver's suggestion is equally valid. Lots of harsh consonants in there, probably...
Not that it is the same lore-wise, but you might check out some of the everquest mmo pre-generated names for froglock characters.

nock in the original shows, TMNT had shredder, man dont I feelold, took some mutengen down to florida and took some amphibians (frogs, toads) and mutated 4 frogs/toads.
Khegis and Rasputin were just two of them.
Go with hard "r" and "c" sounds (like the 'r' in 'rock' or the 'c' in 'cut') and short "o" sounds (like the "o" in operation). Those sounds are distinguishable in a humanized version of a croak. As for surnames, adjective/verb + "swamp word" will probably work best, though they'll end up sounding rather orcish.

Mrrgrlllgrrhgrr!
My advice: give him a nickname. Like a grippli gunslinger named Deadeye, or a rogue named Lefty, or a druid named Lily.

"Grippli have no surnames, and place little importance on names in general, identifying each other as much by sight as by words. They often pick up nicknames when among other races. Common grippli names include Brillup, Bullgup, Chirk, Quartle, Bellum, Kaillum, and Quon."
How about descriptive names: Drinks Pondscum, Short Tongue, Bloater, Old Wart and his son New Wart. For more feminine names: Minnow Wrangler, Bootcatcher's Widow, Dottyback, Mother Croak and her daughters Reedy and Weedy.
