Nice!
But I'm sure I'll hold out for the book/pdf bundle. Will definitely keep an eye open for when the pre-orders go up. :)
You can preorder the printed book now.
However, we won't be offering a print / pdf bundle option here.
I mentioned it in the product thread, here's the reasoning below:
Due to technical limitations now that we're distributing through the retail channels instead of just shipping books directly to Paizo, this unfortunately isn't possible.
Essentially if we set up a print/pdf bundle with the printed book going through our distributor, that extra cost would just go to the distributor and never make its way to us. (I asked.)
Should that change, I'd be open to adding the option. :)

But you will be offering the bundle at your site, correct? Just wanted to make sure I understood the distinction. Thanks, Jeremy!

My hope is we can eventually figure out a solution to this technical limitation.
Okay, I'll make sure to catch it over there, then. Thanks again. :)

Will you have the printed book ready in time for GenCon?
Yes.
I'm actually in the process of uploading a revised cover to the printer right now (the text on the back was hard to read) and will be doing a new proof, which usually arrives in a week, so we're looking at full printings available in time for GenCon. :)

There's only a few just yet - we're a small company, so it takes us a while to get things done.
The main book is Psionics Unleashed. That's where everything starts.
The second book is Psionics Expanded. That's this book.
We've got a Psionic Bestiary that is being released in parts. The eventual size of the book is expected to be around 100 pages.
And finally, we've released two adventures set in our all-psionic campaign setting.
The Player's Guide (free) is here. The first adventure is here. The second adventure is here.
Super Genius Games also released a PDF of Psionic Feats, some of which we included in Psionics Expanded. (The joy of the Open Game License!)

I looked Psionics Expanded briefly and I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I particularly like Hustle Power (baby quicken) and that one metapsionic that lets you use a buff that only effects you as a buff you can instead lay on someone else with a range touch. As for powers, Mindhunter and Alienation both stood out as something I'd probably pick up. Haven't really looked at the new classes yet though.

Quick question, Jeremy: if we signed up for the playtest, do we get just the full PDF or did it include the print as well?
Not that any part of it is -just- something...
I'm not sure what you mean by signing up for the playtest.
Do you mean if you got the Preorder / Work In Progress?
Let me answer it the best way I can think of to cover whatever you might mean:
If you paid $9.95 - you get the PDF.
If you paid $24.95 - you get the PDF and the printed book.
If you participated in the playtest but haven't bought anything, you got your name in the book (assuming you gave it to me directly or in the playtest contributor thread), but still have to buy the PDF or printed book.
Hope that helps. :)
NOTE: Dreamscarred premier customers would have received a 10% discount on those prices.

archmagi1 wrote:Psicrystal Affinity has a requirement of "Manifester level 1". The Wild Talent or Psionic Talent feats granted from the Soulknife's "Wild Talent" ability only grant PP, not manifester levels. I would say no they can't.Thank you
That is a correct interpretation. However, soulknife levels do increase the power of a psicrystal. It's a strange carry over from 3.5 (probably because it is a feat instead of a class ability, and 'psionic class levels' was easier than 'levels in classes that grant manifesting' so that a psicrystal stacked the same way a sorcerer/wizard familiar would). RAW, any soulknife from a psionic race with a psi-like ability could gain a psicrystal and have it advance all the way through the using soulknife levels, but I'm 98% certain that wasn't RAI.
The Armored Blade enhancement bonus is not shared between the weapons/armor, which is why it has a reduced progression. In your example, you could have a +2 mind blade and +2 armor, or a +1 keen (or any other +1 ability) mind blade and +2 armor, or a +2 mind blade and a +1 light fortification (we really need more armor special abilities) mind armor. You could also wield dual +1 mind blades with +2 armor (or +1 light fortification armor).

I don't know. Psionics doesn't lend itself to a relatively magic poor game like mine
Just got done playing and the 8th level Armored Blade and that damn rechargeable "Psychic Strike" made it a mockery
There was nothing they couldn't f-over, DR meant nothing to them. It was in a word BORING for the rest of the players.
Against what they went up against, the Armored Blade did it all and barely got scratched
Please fix the Psion classes and drop the "insta-recharge" and limit them to number of usage per day, or less
For games like mine where the players control the tempo or pace, Psionic character go nova like nobody's business then run and hide
I want to run psionics but the non-psionic players WTF they're doing there in the game

I'm not sure that's possible if you're playing in a magic-poor game and using classes designed for standard games and not adjusting them.
We can't design classes to be used in every type of game possible. If you're not using standard wealth levels and standard enemy challenge ratings, you need to adjust the classes appropriately, especially the classes that get "built-in" magic - like the soulknife or the monk, who don't need magic items.
And if you allow your players to nova and run and hide, well, there's tons of ways to train them out of that behavior - an NPC that shows up after they've rested for 6 hours (so they haven't regained any hit points, power points, daily use abilities) fouls up that tactic pretty thoroughly.
All the changes you recommend sound like something needed specifically for your "magic poor" game, not for Pathfinder in general.

Howdy!
Well, we haven't started the hardcover compilation yet, since we just finished Expanded. :) Although we have commissioned artwork for it, so I guess that counts. We've also shopped around for different hardcover printing options.
However, we're going to be starting on that project soon.
Yay, i'm very excited about it. I love hardcovers >_>
Will the artwork be colour by any chance? (in the book, not the cover)
Also, any hint as to who the cover artist will be? (I like pretty books)
