Half-Demon concept?

Advice

Hi guys! Me and my friends want to start a pathfinder campaing, unfortunatly i am new in this game so i need help to built my hero. First of all is my nature to pay a lot of antention to my hero's concept. So i tried to build my hero's concept first, and i met a dead end. I want to be a half demon fighter, rush into battle and bring havoc to my enemies, so i started to built a sorcerer with abyssal bloodline because i found awesome to gow claws from my hands and fight with them, but i cant find any prestige class or something to keep on my built. Any ideas PLZ????

Sorceror is kind of a poor choice for you if you want to run into battle and fight hand to hand because they have low HP and low bonuses to hit. That said, you could still go with your half-demon idea by just being a fighter and going with the race Tiefling, which is essentially half a normal race, half some sort of outsider race, like demon or devil.

Here's a page that describes Tieflings, as well as some alternative ways they can be built (varies depending on what their ancestor was).

I second the Tiefling suggestion, though another option might be to discuss with your GM the possibility of reflavoring the Dragon Disciple to be more of a demonic kind of thing. Shouldn't take too much effort if they're not heavy on lore. I wouldn't get my heart too set on it since it requires more effort for your GM, but it's worth a shot.

Unless your sorcerer has a very specific set of spells and feats, running directly into battle as a sorcerer will spell death.

If you want to be a melee caster, you could go magus, or even cleric if you don't mind being a divine caster.

If you have the Charisma for it you could always take Eldritch Heritage for the Abyssal bloodline and get the claws/strength bonus that way.

There is (if I recall correctly) a half-fiend template in the beastiary but that will require GM input as it increases the CR of the characted.

There are several other ways to get claws which are better (Imo) than the limited use bloodlines powers. I would suggest shapeshifting ranger (or any ranger) and the natural combat style granting claws from Aspect of the beast. Ranger might fit with your concept as a hunter.

The Exchange

If you really want to rush in and fight fighter or barbarian is more the class for you. Or monk if you want to use your hands to fight but there is the whole alignment restriction that is a bit of a pain. As far as being half-demon i agree with choaseffect go tiefling they have demon and devil heritage that would fit your fluff.

Other option is go barbarian with fiend totems, sorcerous bloodline feat, and tiefling race. Sounds much closer to what your aiming for. Now is this supposed to be an evil character & campaign I assume?

I guess i want to create a chaotic neutral character. Many thanks, by the way, for the advices guys i appreciate your help.

np dude that's what these boards are for.

Check the Pathfinder Player Companion Blood of the Feinds page 20 has a Demon Spawn Teifling. They are typicaly CE though, not sure if thats a factor or not. A +2 in Str might be good for Fighter, alternately the +2 Cha would help as Sorcerer.

Fiend Totem Barbarian is the best way to do this, I think. Sadly the amazing totem capstone won't be of much use to a PC (in most campaigns).

Well, you could also try to go with Improved Unarmed Strike for start and repurpose the Tiger Style or Boar Style feats from Ultimate Combat later.

I agree that if you want to wade into combat and cast and fight Magus is the way to go. Also a Teifling Magus is a BEAST!
