Once again, the overarmored young woman looks on, helm set aside for the nonce. She stands tall and proud, but in no way threatening here in her home lodge.
"If you must know, I am from the City of Westcrown, in the Empire of Cheliax." She pauses just a moment to let that sink in. "However, it has been a long time since I have been there, and I no longer tend to think of it as home."

"I joined the Silver Crusade because I did not know what else to do. I cannot undo the wrong I have done, but perhaps I can do enough good to redeem myself in Sarenrae's eyes. Of course, I have them to keep me on the proper path."

"Whence you come matters less than whither you go. Oh, and watch your helm."
He indicates her helm, which is slowly sliding toward the edge of the table on which it is sitting."Sorry about that. They usually play only with my things."

"I do love Absolom. I had visited many cities when I was caravaning, mostly Magnimar, but none I had seen compared to Absolom."
I like how much fun your having with his haunted curse.

Thanks! I haven't had a chance to play him yet. This is the next best thing. Maybe I should look into online PFS games.
It took me the better part of a week to figure out how a basically good person got to the point of killing his best friend. I needed him to have killed someone to explain his running away from Taldor and changing his name.

"Well Seimei, my friend, when I am not doing the work of the Prince of Law or running errands for The Society, I collect and study legal texts from around the world and other planes. I am especially fascinated with contracts and criminal law.
You don't perchance happen to know where I can get my hands on a Tien treatise on the social forms to be followed in execution of vendetta law or the legal implications of wars by proxy, do you?"

The youthful-looking aasimar looks sadly at the armoured woman and shakes his head.
"I was ordained fifty years ago in Westcrown, Bree-Bran. It used to be a magnificent city. Truly blessed by the gods, until those fools of the house of Thrune moved their seat of power to their new capital. Now, sadly, it has fallen into the hands of criminal gangs that bring disorder and rebellion to your once fair home. Crimals like the Bastards of Erebus and the so-called Children of Westcrown. I don't know who is worse... these criminals or Thrune, who play with diabolical forces like a goblin with a box of sky rockets."

"Hm...it seems we have a lot of zealous people here; I wonder, what do you guys all do in your free time, like hobbies and stuff?"
The bard turns toward the tengu, her long, plaited hair falling over her shoulder. Strangely, several rainbow-coloured strands are woven through it. The vibrant hues appear to be natural. "For myself, worship and leisure are one and the same. Dancing, music, and other arts are a way of honouring the Gods while serving to inspire and educate one's self and the layperson. Encouraging beauty in the world is hardly a task which one may pick up and set aside according to whim."

Bree-Bran nods sadly to the priest. I need to be much smarter on how I deal with my once homeland. Now, though, I prepare for the fights which I can be effective in."
She turns to look to the Tengu as well, her own russet and black hair tied up and out of the way. "I don't consider any of my time 'free'. I must prepare myself, and I have challenges to meet. The Worldwound is where we are to go, for the Society and all the world too."

And more late replies! Gimme a second...
Study mycology, languages, reading, Hit the puddles with a few cure disease spells and heal some injuries, show some newer druids some ins and outs of their new forms, catch up on the chronicles,
Seimei's eyes light up at the mention of The Puddles. "I didn't know you came around that way. Maybe I'll run into you sometime, hey, we could even go about healing people together."
"Hm..." she puts a talon to her beak, looking at the ceiling in contemplation for a second. "Can't say I've ever heard of anything like that--foreign laws and stuff are beyond me. Hey, I know! Maybe I could ask my mom if she knows of anyone who could--er, actually, nevermind, that may not work too well for you, now that I think about it."
The bard turns toward the tengu, her long, plaited hair falling over her shoulder. Strangely, several rainbow-coloured strands are woven through it. The vibrant hues appear to be natural. She seems genuinely impressed. "Wow, I never woulda knew. I'm glad that you have fun with that."

This time, however, the tengu tilts her head and makes what you guess approximates a frown. "Are you sure? I mean, it's good that you're so dedicated to your work and all, but can't just spend every waking hour focusing on it, it's not healthy. You have to relax and enjoy life sometimes, or else you'll get super stressed and burnt out."

There's a heavy sigh, and a lifting and lowering of the massively armor-encased shoulders. "There are things that endanger the world, so much so that there might not be a world if they are left to their own devices. How can I justify frivolity and frolick while there are cancers of evil trying to destroy everything? I chafe enough at trying to get missions from the Society. Fortunately, I have gotten the secret of the Tapestry, so I won't waste nearly so much time in travel as I had been."
She offers a wan smile, in apology.

Seimei sighs as well, her cheerful demeanor gone. "I know that. There's a lot of horrible things and people in this world. But, you gotta remember, you're only one person. I don't mean that in a bad way--each of us is just one person--but you can't take everything on yourself. Trust me, I've already learned that one the hard way..."
She silent for a bit. "Look, all I'm saying is, you don't have to take on all the evil things in the world alone, ok? That's what you have teammates for. I don't know what troubles you've been through, but it's not solely your responsibility, and that means that you don't have to focus on it 24/7. Life is meant to be enjoyed; isn't that why it's worth protecting? And that extends to you too. The world won't collapse if you take a day off, or even an hour to enjoy things. You want to protect everything, right? You should at least take some time out to enjoy the things you're working so hard to defend."
There's a silence for a bit, and then she returns to her normal mood. "Sorry, I got kinda heavy there for a second, didn't I? I've been working on trying not to do that." She clasps her talons together. "Anyway, I look forward to working with you, if I get the chance! We'd make great teammates, I'm sure, and return with some fun stories."

Sorry! I keep forgetting to switch to Bree-Bran to post.
She nods again, this time to Nonnie, and gives a more heartfelt smile. Then there's another shrug. "I'm not sure I would know what to do with myself. But, yeah, if you want to fight the good fight, I am ready for that. Perhaps the Captains will call us out together." And then there is a full smile, anticipating the chance to really do something.

"Have you heard the rumors surrounding the World Wound? It sounds like the denizens of the Abyss are up to some naughtiness. Personally, I hope that the Society and our crusade play an active part in combating their activities. It will a fine opportunity for me to be able to prove myself to my fellow Crusaders. Cooperation between the forces of Law against these unclean agents of Chaos can only help to foster trust and understanding between what is predominantly an organization of Iomedeans and myself, a devout Asmodean."

Ziggy sits up straight, and addresses the group.
"My place is not to cause harm. I am a healer. I can't see myself combating demons at the worldwound, but I can see myself healing the soldiers. However, I would much rather spend my time healing the downtrodden. I already face far too much combat as a pathfinder; it's not who I am."
He looks at Sei.
"When I'm not out in the field as a pathfinder, I spend the time teaching and directing at my hospice. It takes much devotion, so it absorbs most of my time. However, I do enjoy a drink now and then, and every other morning I do some exercise and meditate. I also enjoy making sculptors, when I have the time; which is rarely."
He smiles and pats her on the shoulder gently.
"Sei, you must understand that some of us are not here on this earth to enjoy it. Some of us have a divine decree to have constant vigilance, ridding the world of evil and making it a better place. That is the path of a paladin. Not everyone is cut out for it. Do not pity her; admire her for her devotion and understand that you two lead very different lives. I can see that you have a lot of empathy. That is a gift that you should use in your life."

"I hope to have the opportunity to further the cause and show my mettle. Mind you, what I do best is keeping other people from getting hurt. With luck, I'll even be able to prevent other Pathfinders from killing needlessly. I understand that some killing is inevitable, but maybe some can be avoided."

"I'm not strictly a healer, but I can relate to that. I can't see myself battling demons, either, but if I'm ever sent to the World Wound and find myself face to face with them, I'll insult them to their face, distracting them and making them less deadly to my fellow Pathfinders. And, of course, using my wide knowledge to help my fellows find the best weaknesses to pursue on the enemies. But I can also help some with the healing - bards can use heal sticks, after all."
"But as for free time, I do think some of you need to learn to relax. While I can respect wanting to go out there and do good in the world - that's why I joined the Silver Crusade, after all - you can't be on task 24 hours per day. Yes, making the world a better place frequently involves defeating the forces of evil. But you also need to admit that sometimes just having fun and spreading smiles to those around you is also a useful way to make Golarion a better and happier world. And really, that's what I'm best at."

A well-dressed Tian noble staggers in, yet you can discern by his mannerisms that there may be more to him than meets the eye...a wolf in sheep's clothing. He checks for rips in his elegant garment, and you note a mithral breastplate under his clothes.
He mutters under his breath,該死到地獄,只有其他彩燈洛奇對特派團的個人被殺了。, as he carefully removes a beautiful yet dead woman from his shoulders, seating her in a chair by the bar.
"My friend, you fought well. I shall honor you with one last drink. That is, assuming they have any sake here worthy of your pallet."
Looking around the room cautiously, he says, "Well, I just returned from my first Silver Crusade mission, now that Amara Li has decided we Lantern Lodge kin should join a different faction. I can't believe the authorities wouldn't let us free ALL the slaves. It's enough to make me want to start an Andoran Revolution. *sigh* But the Grand Lodge will be pleased, we rescued that filthy Chelish noble's wife. I suppose even scum from Cheliax don't deserve to be slaves. But no one told us the fighting would be so fierce, and now my friend is dead.
Silently, Lady Ophellia inches her way over to the gruff Tian. "Thank you for joining our cause. I am so sorry for your loss."
Gently, she places a Silver Crusade wayfinder in his hand.
Howling Wolf stares at the trinket for a few moments, then turns to his fallen companion and says, "Hmmph. Look at THIS pretty thing, my friend. I hope it was worth it," as a single tear escapes down the rough warrior's cheek...

"?!"
Ziggy stands up abruptly.
He seems shocked by the circumstances, and a little more shocked that someone just dragged a dead body into the temple and propped it into a chair, and that no one else seems surprised.
I'm a little shocked that one person just commented for two characters, also that Lady Ophellia is not the least surprised with someone charging in here from, what looks like, fresh out of combat.
He looks around the room and decides it would be best to give the man a moment before asking if the body needs to be sanctified.
He turns to the Tien man. He bows.
Perception check: 1D20 + 7, (16) + 7 = 23. (He's looking for wounds and what he's wearing/carrying)
"Who are you? Do you need healing?"

The angelic aasimar in red robes and a breastplate rises slowly to his feet, his face an impassive mask in spite of the sudden disturbance.
"I'm very sorry to see that you have lost a friend, good sir. We Pathfinders sometimes find that life is nasty, brutish...and regrettably short. Is there anything that I can do to help ease her passage and your pain? Perhaps I can assist you in observing proper burial rites, or aid you in the execution of her last will and testament?"

Sure. Might cut down on the number of times I get robbed for my clothes. I tried healing people in bat form just so being naked wasn't quite so much bother, but its awfully hard to cast the better spells while being smacked in the face with a broom.

Jander looks with concern to the fallen Pathfinder.
"Welcome to the Crusade, Wolf. Is it too late to help your friend? We can still take her to the temple. They may be able to revive her."
Jander walks over and places his hand near the fallen woman's forehead. "If not, please accept this blessing. May Sarenrae guide your soul to its next destination. Whether she follwed the Dawnflower or not, please light her way along this difficult path."

Glancing around at the shocked stares, the former nomadic tribesman fails his Charisma-based skill checks with yet another faux pas as usual.
"Resurrection?"
Howling Wolf searches through his friend's pockets, finding papers from her faction. "This...this is good news...she may be all right after all...now I just need to figure out what her new faction is...damn blood stains on her chronicle sheets...where's Amara Li to help sort this thing out?"
As he leaves with the body slung over his shoulders, you catch the faint sound of him muttering something about praying for the day when it's not only the rich and famous that can get brought back to life.

young man enters. His flawless skin, white hair, white eyes, and white halo, leave little doubt to his angelic heritage. Equally obvious is his alliance, with the black clothes and red cloak he favors, as well as the prominently worn unholy symbol of the Prince of Darkness.
I had come to make introductions, but perhaps now is not the time.

Howling wolf, if you rolled poorly on one of your checks, you are welcome to use my misfortune ability to reroll it.
Ziggy raises an eyebrow as the tien man, who still hasn't said his name, walks right out the door.
Since he is now standing, he turns to newest newcomer, the Aasimar, and shakes his hand.
"Good evening. I'm Ziggy. It is nice to meet you."
He looks at Amedeo, furrows his brows slightly. Looks away for a second and then looks back, smiling.
He has knowledge planes
"Ah, you're Archon blooded aren't you? Yes, a natural devotee of the law, and probably a natural leader as well. If you don't mind me saying. I respect the law, even if I don't enforce it personally."
He takes a slide glance at Father Palatino, and says to both of them, quietly;
For me, it's not really that simple.
He starts walking back towards his seat and gestures Amedeo to take a seat as well.

"Ah ha, no." ...
"I am not a follower of Asmodeus. I do however, pay him homage. I pay all the Gods homage. My Patron has not decided to enlighten me to it's identity, so, until then, I will respect all the Gods. Although I suspect Desna."
He looks up slightly, and smiles.
At this point, you may notice that Ziggy doesn't not have any holy symbols on his person, or on his clothes.
