What do you mean you're number 1035? After you press submit, are you seeing that number? When I press submit, all I'm getting is an hourglass and I've been waiting 15 minutes.
Got all my first choices. Now all I can do is wait...and make sure I play enough prior to GenCon to make my master plan (leveling) work out!
i started at 2157 and am now 452.....
I did not think it would take this long.

Finally, now I'm 1604 in line, after being stuck for 15 minutes. I guess I should have retried every 2 minutes instead of being patient. It's hard to know what to do in these Qs, doing that could just as easily push you to the back of the line.
I agree it would have been nice for it to say what was going to happen, "Be patient" or you will be put in line in the order you click... or something.

hard to do first steps when you only get 2 parts of it.
put in for a new time and hoping....
1335 would have come and gone by now.
2157 finished a few min ago.
well we ended up getting all 3 parts now, in order even..
We just have to get there WAYYYYYYY earlier then we planned.
Got both of the PFS I had been shooting for (3-21 on Saturday afternoon, 4-01 on Sunday morning). The registration system seemed slower than last year, but once I finally got through, I got everything I wanted.

King of the Storval Stairs is popular, some of those are sold out, I am glad I got mine.
Edit: same with Portal of the Sacred Rune.
I am hoping we don't have the same problem as last year, sold out but with a bunch of players without characters of that level.
If we have new players to PFS, they will be asked to redirect to First Steps. I still have nightmares GMing #2-20 with one real character and five level 7 preens last year at Gen Con. The table wiped and it wasn't particularly fair for that one player. We will make judgement calls on site.

I mustered one 7-11 event last year, none of them other then 1 had a character, 5 of them wanted to stick together and did not want to split *The 5 without the characters*, I tried finding another table for them but none was open that would allow 5 in. I had a table for the one with the PC but it was a lower level and he said he only wanted to play the 7-11 game. I wonder if that was your table... ;).
The key seemed to be to hit submit again if you didn't get a queue number. And if your q number didn't drop down in 3-5 minutes you needed to hit refresh. This year wasn't as smooth as last year, for me anyway.

We didn't realize you needed to re-click submit if nothing happened the first time, and every event we wanted except True Dungeon and one other were sold out by the time we got in. Would have been nice if the site notified you that your request timed out rather than letting you wait until you felt brave enough to refresh. We also joked that there should be an automatic refund offer if your wishlist processed and you got zero tickets from it.
