BTW - The World is Dancing has been the standout anime this season followed by Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Jobless Reincarnation S3, Clevatess S2, Saga of Tanya the Evil S2 have been okay.
Ghost in the Shell restyling(or more to the original - eh), it is interesting, more cartoonish and humor filled. It makes the old release more interesting in what they did to make it into the story that was created at the time.
It's like Disney Cinderella vs Grimm's Cinderella vs modern movie Cinderella. lol... you have to take it as a different interpretations rather than just production choices (like various stage productions of the same play or opera).
Rick and Morty S9 was good.
There seems to be a rather strong nostalgic trend in american entertainment. I suppose it is a reaction to the current situation combined with reminiscence and a touch of dementia (lol) or naivete. WotC was more blatant in their GenCon announcement. The grognard review was also humorous. Chasing the dollar.
