Kossuth

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Why isn't Kossuth available in Pathfinder? Is it a liscensing issue with Forgotten Realms?

Dang. It fit a cleoric build I wanted so bad. No one else even wants to play them. I was hoping to inspire them.

Outta curiosity, what is it about FR's Kossuth makes the build so attractive? There are some Dragon Empires Deities that might be worth looking into; Lady Nanbyo, a disaster-based evil goddess, and Yamatsumi, a neutral god of mountains/volcanoes/winter.

Unless you are playing PFS, why can't you play a cleric of Kossuth? Yea, Paizo can't print him, but beyond that, who cares about licencing. In your home game you can draw from any sources that you want to enrich your game.

Also clerics dont HAVE to pic a diety they can follow the ideals of a concept or moral path.

No reason your cleric cant follow the idea/philosophy that Fire is sacred, etc... The cleric can even believe in a Almighty Fire Elemental named Kossuth.

Kossuth was one of my FAVORITE god from Forgotten Realms (tied with Shar).

Did they ever post WHY Kossuth was having a sudden spreading appeal? I seem to remember back in the 3.X days the FR was talking about how Kossuth was having a worrying spread, but I don't remember seeing anything after that.

If your cleric is neutral you can go with Ymeri

Weird. The Hungarians don't seem to have a problem with that.

No seriously Kossuth is a Forgotten Realms specific deity, asking why he isn't in pathfinder is like asking why Sauron isn't in Harry Potter.

There's a reason you haven't seen anything about kossuth lately.

They blew the realms up and pissed on its ashes.

Silly Threeshades... everyone knows that Sauron isn't in the Harry Potter books because Hari Seldon of the Foundation foresaw the conditions leading to Sauron's rise to power and talked Achmed the Snake, Colonel Alois Hammer and Hiro Protagonist into helping adjust social currents to stop him.

and yet they could have goddess named mielikki and loviatar in pathfinder and wotc cant say nothing..... well they could..... but here would be the defense...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loviatar

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mielikki

and legally you cant say nothing..... as long as the description appearance are different.
