So I am running a heavily modified Kingmaker campaign and so far, four out of five of my characters are having a blast. The fifth one is having an okay time, but he seems to be bored more often than not with some of the adventures they go on. Admittedly, a lot of it is still exploring along with the town adventures (I'm in the second one right now, Rivers Run Red) but so far it's still been wilderness survival encounters that require more physical and nature based skills than arcana skills. Here is his description:
Human Air Elemental Sorcerer, Level 5
He is a councilor for the people and takes his job seriously, to the point where he gave up all of his loot to put to the treasury. He's all about representing the will of the people.
So, what are some good adventure hooks that would catch his interest? Thanks.

Some of the people are having problems with the other PCs' actions, and they come to the "friend of the people" to ask him to intercede?
(Bonus points if some of them are honest and really having trouble, and others are just making problems and using the legitimate grievances as trouble.)
If you're using Kingmaker, quite a few of the second adventure path hooks sound like they're tailor-made for this guy (Grigori, some of the sidequests...)

The mysterious origins of his bloodline would seem to offer excellent fodder for hooks... whether it is a rival offspring seeking to take him down, perhaps use the people under his protection against him, or simply information uncovered about his birthright which could lead to a potent magical item or some such, depending on his motivations.

So far I like the ideas. He was against the barbarian becoming king so that could lead to an interesting path. Some of the sidequests do seem like they'd be interesting.
I also like your idea Mercurial. Since he is an air elemental bloodline, it would be cool to have them deal with a very powerful air elemental. Aside from elementals, what are other good sources for the Air Elemental Bloodline?

We had an elemental:fire sorcerer in a campaign, and the GM engineered a goblin arch nemesis elemental:fire sorcerer that hated that his powers were "shared amongst the tall races". His bands of goblin warriors and thieves caused no end of mayhem until we chased him down and let them essentially burn each other to cinders to prove whos fire was more sacred.

Numeria.
I don't really have any materials about Numeria, as much as I'd like to.
I like the rival idea. Maybe I'll make it an opposite element (earth?) or something.
Also, I've been looking through magic items for a sorcerer. Aside from a headband of charisma, what are some good magic items for sorcerers?

Basically, anything with the air subtype. Djinn are a possibility. That would bring in the possibility of the party being affected by the war between the Djinn and the Efreet. Maybe add a fire elemental sorcerer as an enemy?
Alternatively, you could think bigger. Maybe the sorcerer is descended from Pazuzu, King of the Wind Demons. Pazuzu would be quite disturbed that one of his bloodline is doing such horrible things, like HELPING people instead of killing them. Demons could set out to "redeem" the sorcerer and kill the rest of the party for being a bad influence.
