Magus spell combat + telekinetic charge = magic pounce?

Rules Questions

Does this work?

Is it awesome?

:D

Sure. But I'd rather use Force Hook Charge. It's even called out as being for that.

Liberty's Edge

Does seem to be pretty awesome. I don't see why it wouldn't work, you are your own ally, after all.

Bladed Dash and Greater Bladed Dash are even better if you're not passing through 3d terrain, as they grant an attack on any foe along your path with a circumstance modifier to attack bonus equal to intelligence, or, in the case of Greater, every foe along your path. And their movement also doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity. And it's verbal only so you can do it in a lot of funny conditions.

Well yes, but that's from a Golarion specific book :)

And I think Magi don't get it. Which is weird, since it mentions them.

I see Force Hook Charge will work, but Telekinetic Charge grants an additional attack (at a cost of next round's swift action). :D

They do, so you think false.

False thinker!

Which book are they from?

Sovereign Court

The Bladed Dash spells are from Inner Sea Magic, I believe.

I don't see Telekinetic Charge on the magus spell list unfortunately.

Magi (maguses?) can pick up a few wizard spells.

They do with Greater Spell Access, which is at higher levels though.

(BTW, the plural form of "Magus" is "Magi")

The Exchange

They can also pick up the spell blending Arcana:

Spell Blending:
When a magus selects this arcana, he must select one spell from the wizard spell list that is of a magus spell level he can cast. He adds this spell to his spellbook and list of magus spells known as a magus spell of its wizard spell level. He can instead select two spells to add in this way, but both must be at least one level lower than the highest-level magus spell he can cast.

Sovereign Court

True, but with Bladed Dash, Greater Bladed Dash, and Force Hook Charge already available, are you really going to want to use greater spell access or an arcana on this spell?

It would be nice if it were on the list. Since it's not, I'd never pick it up.
