And now Twilight can time travel. Time for Homestuck fans to go nuts. Along with fans of pretty much anything involving time travel.
As a--*wince*--fanfic writer, I'm probably going to stick this in at some point. Stable time loops are just so much fun! :D
The spell only works once and then for a few moments. But the metal geat referance was really funny.
Since little of my fanfiction involves the Mane Six directly, one-use shouldn't be too much of a barricade. :)

Myself, I came to it after some friends bugged me into watching, and my favorites are:

Note however that I like all the girls, I don't "dislike" Pinkie or Fluts. Heck, I like the show so much that (deep breath) I'm currently writing a crossover fanfic between MLP:FiM and the John the Balladeer stories.

They need a codex for it.
I've seen at least one fanfic in which Celestia becomes the God-Emperor (Goddess-Empress?) and Luna, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie all become the mortal avatars of Tzeentch, Khorne, Slaanesh, and Nurgle, respectively.
And does anyone here want a link to the fanfic where the mane six play D&D/Pathfinder, with Spike as their DM? It's so entertaining to watch the poor dragon slowly go insane...
Great episode this past saturday with Spike, many dragons, multiple Phoenix(es), and a funny dragon disguise.

Can't wait fot the two part wedding episodes.
Saw the commercials while reliving my childhood watching Batman Beyond. That it would be dumb but the animation caught my interest. Watched an episode, "Bridle Gossip." Have been a fanatic ever since.
Ranking for me is:
1.) Twilight Sparkle
2.) Rainbow Dash
3.) Pinkie Pie/Fluttershy (I really can't decide between the two)
4.) Rarity
5.) Applejack (I think she's great but honestly I tend to forget she even exists sometimes; I know, I'm a horrible brony)
I want to watch this show. When is it on? I guess I'll check my local listings.
It comes on the Hub, new episodes are on at 1 pm on saturdays. You can find the episodes on Youtube as well.
I just had a my little pony dream last night.
I dreamt that I was actually visiting Ponyville, and that a pair of my friends who had some real life beef were coming to the party. I spoke with several ponies about how to best handle it, and they said that they would do their best to keep them apart for as long as possible. I remember one of my friends in the dream being VERY upset that I did not tell her that there was an opening to be a park ranger at one of Equestria's nature preserves- she was in literal tears. Then the mayor of Ponyville came in and stated that it was ridiculous for her to be sad, that she didn't actually live in Ponyville and was not a pony. This actually lead to a debate on whether or not there was a "No humans" policy in Equestrian public service...to which Pinkie Pie specifically flatly said was ridiculous. I woke up not long afterwards...
For those who haven't seen this, it put chills down my spine. Ponies dubbed with the trailer for The Shining.

Yeah, I'm sure ya'll have seen it already, but I weren't even aware they were doing new My Little Pony things until last week.

The linked video on Facebook is a documentary interview with a man who has intimate relations with mares and how his wife handles his affection for the mares. (It is also noted that his wife has had relations with animals before, but the two initially gave up such practices when they had kids.)
So yeah, I wouldn't recommend watching it at work.

It is a serious thread and show started late in 2010 and just ended it's second season. The show is on the Hub, hasbro's new channel, and was developed by Lauren Faust. If you doen't know who that is, she worked on the Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Immaginary Friends and who's husband created those series. I myself got into the series last september and still can't believe I like this show.

I seriously only found out about this brony thing last week. I find it fascinating. And kinda cute. ;)
I have in fact watched 4 episodes of the cartoon, in order to see if I could figure out why it's attractive to so many people. I am not a brony, but I find the fact that it appeals to so many adults really interesting. The show is cute enough, but I'm more a "The West Wing" speed kind of guy when it comes to my shows.
That being said, I don't know why people hate Rarity so much. The voice acting is definitely endearing. ;)
Even before the new show, my daughters loved My Little Pony so I had seen the earlier shows and movies (the My Little Pony movie is actually remotely entertaining, with the Smooze) - even going so far as to download some for their enjoyment. When we heard about the new show, we had to watch it, so we all made an event out of it and were waiting eagerly for it to start on Day 1. I was amazed by how good the characterizations were, how funny it was and, being a musical-lover, Pinkie Pie's song in Episode 2 (and the beat-jokes from the other ponies) cinched the deal for me - this would be something I'd be glad to watch from day to day. I haven't stopped.

I've watched the first season because that's what's on Netflix. I told my dad I was watching it and he thought it strange. My brother is away at grad school and the rest of the family usually video conferences with him as a group once every two weeks after Sunday dinner. My dad told my brother I was watching it and my brother informed us that he's seen them all so far, and he's a big fan.
My brother mentioned some episodes in the second season I already want to see but it's hard to go back to watching them on the web after I got to watch them in HD on Netflix. I wish Netflix would get shows sooner but they seem to wait for DVD release.
Three of my online friends from other fora persuaded me into it just before season two started, and we ended up semi-marathoning through Season One in about three weeks. Most of that season was "Okay this is surprisingly good for a kids' show". Then came Season Two and Discord.
So yeah. Hey.

There is good chance that John De Lancie is reprising his roll as Discord in season 3. The main reason is that he let slip that he came back to do some voice work for an episode or two for season 3.

I saw the pilot and the first two episodes of the first season. One about the tickets and one where Applejack tries to do everything by herself.
I have to say I think the Applejack voice is rather endearing. Why is she less popular?

She's the sane one. The others have all gone through this or that crisis that snatched away the spotlight for a while. Her one breakdown was early in the series and she hasn't had many other center-stage episodes since; the only other one she was supposed to be the main focus, where she was competing in the contest and didn't come back to town, had her off-screen for half the episode, then when she was around she got much of her spotlight stolen by Pinkie and Rarity's antics.
The cider episode was her other main focus point, but that was more on the whole family and the Brothers still stole the show on that one.

And I was trying to be funny. Guess it fell flat.
Became a brony because I was putting off grading some tests for my student teaching. I'd seen a lot of artists I followed drawing fanart, immediately assumed that checking out the show would kill ten minutes since I hated the older gens as a kid, and proceeded to spend the next two hours watching, only stopping when the roommate got back earlier than expected.
I don't want to know what they thought I was doing from the look I got slamming the laptop shut...
After a recent stint in the hospital, I found myself stuck at home by myself for a few days, on serious pain medicine and unable to think very clearly or do much of anything physical.
MLP:FiM on Netflix Instant Watch was the salvation of my mental well-being. And, sadly, my interest is now inspiration for much ridicule from my cool friends who apparently think it's far more manly to buy monthly cartoon serials featuring drawings of men in tight-fitting multi-colored outfits hitting each other.
