Bring on the beefcake!

It was mentioned in another thread that there isn't a lot of beefcake shots of various male iconics. Is there any chance we might see say Lem wraring not much more than a thong or Valaros on the beach wearing short (and tight) trunks? The gays (and presumably the ladies too) are firing here.

No one bathhouse scene isn't enough.

Also feel free to forget about the old man wizard when making this art buy, okay? ;)

Ezren is a man-god, glimmering in bronze bicep-colored sunlight. If there will be dude-shaped cheese cake, Ezren is front of the line for a flexing session. Might as well put up a target and get a camera because it's going to be a gun show, baby.

As to your disparaging comment, Ezren himself has given me his regards to you. He says, and I quote, "I want you to take a step back and literally disjunction yourself." He then slammed the phone.

In other news, the Lem Appreciation Society for More Lem requests that there be more Lem.

Shadow Lodge

I don't think they will. They don't have the balls.

HAIL ZARDOZ!

Really? Ezren and LEM??

I thought all the ladies who like dudes & the dudes who like dudes wanted to see Alain beefcake.

You people need to get out more or find something better to occupy your time with.

Grand Lodge

I can't.

Moved thread.

Pining for nekkid pics of Ezren, the champion of beardcake? Sorry, there IS nothing better anyone could be doing. Ezren is awesome, delicious and HOT!

I definitely agree there should be more beefcake, even though it won't do a thing for me. But there should definitely be a much more even meat ratio for the various sexes and sexual orientations.

Don't forget Seltyiel. That chest-showing off broody pale guy attracts a LOT of types.

I am proud that (I think) a suggestion I made has made it into another thread. And such an important one too. ;)

What about cheese covered beef steak? Hmm what would that even mean?

Dangit, now I want some Philly Cheesesteak.

That means helping yourself to a little bit of everything, and that's just fine.

I was fortunate enough to go to GINO's the other day. If you have not had REAL philly cheese steak you are missing out.

Alain...no.

Valeros, on the other hand? Give.

What? Like every third picture of Seltyiel that gets ordered isn't doing it for you? The strike-a-pose pose in Ultimate Magic? The tender scene between him and the devourer in Undead Revisited? The endless let-me-flex-while-I-cast-this-spell stances. Not enough? Hum.

Well, since the people asked for more...

As for Lem, I think we've typecast him as the victim a bit too often. I've been trying to sneak him in - especially in the opener to the APs' Bestiaries - doing competent stuff a bit more often. (Expect a scene with such an intention in PF #53.) That said, the shorty races seem to be hard for many of our artists to "get" and make cool looking, or at least, not comical. Obviously there's plenty of examples of Lini and Harsk kicking butt, but there's far fewer where Lem's involved - typically, at best, he's whacking something with his flute or looking like he's about to get trounced. That said, we love all our iconics, so we'll on trying, never fear!

Well Lem never had a chance... he is a halfling and a bard. :)

Bring on the pics of Sajan and Damiel!! Those two are certainly easy on the eyes.

Wizards of the Coast is starting to put things like this in Magic: The Gathering.

Paizo, it's your move. :P

I think we need a classic "thrown in a dungeon and stripped of all their gear" scene. They could all sit around together looking glum, pose on random pieces of stone dungeon furniture, watch Lem try to juggle rats and so on.

Yes. Excellent.

Would anybody want a leprechaun swimsuit calendar? I got some green nuthuggers around here somewhere.

Mm. Yes. Quite.

Oh. Um.

Hum. I'm generally a fan of... uh... that. But in this case we concede.

I don't think encouraging tasteless and exploitative art is really a great goal, regardless of gender. On the other hand, I don't quite care enough to really get angry about it. It feels like getting angry at rain.

First off, you're welcome. :)

Secondly, I have to say that Seltyiel just doesn't do a lot for me. I don't discount the attraction. Maybe it's the white hair thats a turn off.

Oh no no, I am the true champion of beardcake! I do not just possess, uh, formidable physique, I'm also well-versed in Nekkid Dwarven Beard Dance and widely known as 'That Bearded Pervert' and 'The Randy Dwarven Dandy'!

No need to pine for pictures anymore... I can send 'em to you right away! ;P

Every time I read that word, I can only think of the episode of South Park where Cartman is beefing up (ie, getting fatter) and goes around yelling "Beefcake!"

While I in no way officially endorse such things, there's some rather impressive fanservice out there featuring Valeros. Rule 34 has not skipped Paizo. Google at your own risk.

And if you really want beefcake, just come to a con and yell at Sean Reynolds to take off his shirt. He used to do that all the time for TSR. (Warning: Paizo employee beefcake may or may not have cooked all the way through. Viewing raw or undercooked beefcake may result in salmonella, eye lesions, and spontaneous parthenogenesis.)

I know Paizo's doing pretty well, but I doubt they can spring for Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson to pose for paintings.

The idea of Googling Pathfinder-related porn had never even crossed my mind until this post. Now, I foresee countless hours lost in the weirder recesses of the internet. Thanks a lot!

Heh... wacking something with his flute...

How about some half-orc beefcake? Half-orcs just don't seem to get very much love in pathfinder.

Umm...I'm sure if you google Valeros or Pathfinder art...you'll find some halforc rule 34 stuff....

How about we skip the beefcake and just get some good-looking guys instead?

This. Time to review those "search auto-erase" settings on my work computer.

The Exchange

I remember a hilarious shot in Legacy of Fire set in a bath-house. It was a spread of cheesecake and beefcake together, and it wasn't utterly gratuitous. (Only mostly gratuitous!)

That said, I'm picturing Harsk wearing the sort of striped one-piece bathing suit that was popular back in the days of vaudeville.

Aaaaand now I've gone blind.

On a side track, one of the most brutal yet fitting pieces of art I've seen throughout the whole D&D line is in the 3.0 (or 3.5?) halfling special of dragon magazine (the one with the female halfling burglar on the cover). It's a halfling barbarian with a morning star, sitting on a squashed orc (i think) with blood on his face and arms. It's simplistic, brutal, and even a bit provocative for a Dragon Magazine artpiece, but goddamn was it good. Damn.

Can't find it online though :(

I don't know about you, but I consider that a good thing.

Besides everything else, sunglasses are totally not Pathfinder.
