So, Goblins of Golarion came out recently and our DM made the mistake of tossing his copy onto our gaming table just for fun. We snatched it up, loved it, and suddenly we were all talking about playing Goblins in our next campaign. Well, the time has come, and before long now, the Gob Knoblers shall ride!
My reason for posting here is simple. I have a few concepts that I would love to play, mostly based on flavor, and would like some help deciding. I think the final decision will be based on fun factor/style just as much as mechanical merit. Let me know if you've played similar characters (goblin or not) or have an interesting build to suggest/tip to point out. We're doing a 15 point buy system for stats.
The concepts so far:
Fighter (Dragoon): UC archetype, mounted with a focus on spears. I mean, when will be the next time I'll likely feel good about playing a mounted fighter? Problem is the low strength.
(Str-Cha: 14, 14, 14, 12, 8, 8 works though)
Gunslinger: I love the idea of a goblin, in a brown leather duster and a cowboy hat, spinning a pair of revolvers or leaning against a rifle that's bigger than he is.
(Str-Cha: 8, 20, 10, 10, 14, 8)
Bard (Dervish Dancer): UC archetype. A natural choice, considering the ridiculously high Dex.
Monk: Imagine a goblin attempting to jump around like Yoda. I see making use of the Panther Style feats, zooming around combat constantly, and attacking mostly with shuriken.
This will likely end up being a fairly low-levelled game. Let me know what you come up with! Thanks!

Goblin wizard, have you own spellbook on the table, drawings like a a goblin screaming fireball, and on the next page stupid humans with a red ball flying in their direction, and on the third page burning bodies.
There you have the 3 pages a fireball occupies.
For the extra authenticity ask your little children to draw it for you and then let the dog play with the pages and finally spill some ... ketchup all over it.

I'm working on a Goblin Alchemist Bomber that is actually a nuetral evil elf that was reincarnated into a goblin. I'm going to play him a lot like the intelligent Gremlin from Gremlins 2 while also coping with all sorts of strange, new urges that being a goblin brings.
His tastes will also be more "refined," for instance he'll put safron in his pickled finger jars ;-)

this is stolen for another post .
Goblin Witch that thinks his familiar Toad is a God . Its his job as the high cleric of the toad to carry the toad around and smite the toads foes . He would always ask his Toad what he should do next and try to make everyone bow before the all powerful hypnotoad !!

I'm running a PbP that's a homebrew continuation of We Be Goblins. We have a barb 1/cav 2, a witch 3, a rogue 3 and an inquisitor 3. They're frighteningly effective. I gave them a great point buy, though, and the players are all very good at it. They're hard to hit, and hit frequently with ranged and finesse weapons. The rogue is insane. They all have stealth mods around 20.
Any class that gets a lot out of dex would be good for a goblin. I'd probably play some kind of ranger archer or a sorcerer (even with the cha hit), but the inquisitor is turning out to be a cooler class than I gave it credit for before I saw it in play.
In a "normal" game, I don't think I'd allow goblin as an option. It's just way better mechanically than a halfling or gnome at any class but sorcerer or maybe a spell-focused bard.

If you haven't already, I highly suggest giving this comic a read. It is simply fantastic and it should give you some fun ideas and also make you feel really bad about your previous D&D sessions.
