As I've slowly but surely amassed my hoard of pathfinder art, I've become increasingly fond of the iconics.
Much more so than their 3.5 predecessors, on account of one small thing: the iconics have rich backgrounds and personality.
Some seem a tad lacking compared to others, and I find myself wanting to know a hell of a lot more about a certain sorceress...

How do you fine folks envision Seoni? She's essentially Pathfinder's "leading lady", but I found her Backstory blog post told us little more than the fact that she is Varisian, and while a little mystery is good, I'm a little underwhelmed.
More importantly, how does she fit in with the other Varisians? Is she a dancer? Can she do a harrow reading? Does she dance with the shoanti under the red moonlight? Inquiring minds want to know.
Purely a brainstorming excersize so I can put my own spin on her, so let's see some input!

They probably won't get whole novels worth of background information - though I'm sure there are people who would welcome novels with iconics as the protagonists.

Our Seoni's a mystery wrapped in an enigma barely wrapped in fetching dresses. She has weird rules and codes and doesn't want to explain them, and she keeps her emotions bottled.
Some say that she does it because she knows the air of mystery makes her even more alluring. But they never say it within earshot of her...

Alright! Brilliant. This tattooed sorceror is in the new inner see magic book, is it not? I'm dying to get my hands on a copy... Can anyone give me an idea of what they do to tide me over until Friday?
... though I'm not so sure I approve of her having parts that stare -back-.

I do believe 2) isn't the case. I've seen her flipping out to an enormously badass degree in one particular piece of artwork (though I'm not sure I have the book in question). Her and Valeros are in a street brawl and she's kicking some poor chap in the face, likely after distracting him with her feminine wiles.
Sorcerer/Monks are still my favourite multiclass ever.
Well I don't want to give away too much but basically a Tattooed Sorcerer gives up their bloodline powers to gain tattoo magic powers and a familiar which can become a tattoo.They also get Varisian Tattoo as a bonus feat at first level(Lose Eschew Materials. In addition they gain a new tattoo for each bloodline spell and bloodline spells are always enhanced by her Varisian Tattoo feat, even if they don’t match the school to which her Varisian Tattoo belongs..

Seoni can kill anyone she wants! She zaps off heads with magic ALL the time and doesn't even think twice about it. This gal is so crazy and awesome that she flips out ALL the time. I heard that she was eating at a diner once. And when some dude dropped a spoon she killed the whole town. My friend Valeros said that he saw Seoni totally fireball some kid because the kid opened a window.
And that's what I call REAL Ultimate Power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd be on her and off her all night long...
and I can't believe that no one else has made that wisecrack yet!

Overrated. She wasn't even the best looking of the orignal batch of iconics from the CRB, and when Feiya came on the scene, Seoni had to even give up the title of "best-ooking arcane full-caster". Plus Lini and Feiya have actual and cool animal companions/familiars, unlike Seoni...who claims to have a pathetic little lizard that nobody's ever actually seen. It's sad when the best you can do for an imaginary friend is a small reptile.

I'd rather they finish out the APG iconics first. I'm starting to think those three get absolutely no love there at Paizo. First, they've been pushed back month after month. Then Valeros got the do-over treatment. Then some cavalier archtype jumped the line and got his spotlight before his book was even published. Then some crazy b~~~& threated to shoot JJ if she didn't get her segment NOW! Now you guys want to let Miss Illusionary Floatation Device have round 2 before the awesome Inquisitor, the mystical Summoner, and the hottest Witch this side of Idina Menzel.

Unfortunately, no.
Appearently, Mr. Jacobs has all of his writers pretty booked up, so finding someone to compose a quality Iconic backstory is not as simple as it sounds.
So, with that constraint, we need to help try to set their priorities. (And, quite simply, the APG Iconics deserve their time in the Sun.)

It's okay, there are many lovely ladies and handsome men serving as iconics. I'm sure we can all find someone we favor. Thank you for eliminating yourselves from the competition for Seoni however :)

Her attitude seems too boring and serious for my liking. Seems mostly business ... and not sure how I care for that in general.
I'll have to back my favorite still for Freiya and Lini appearance wise. Half-orc has potential. Attiude wise, Merisiel seems the most outgoing and fun.
My man-crush goes to Seltyiel still, though. I've never wanted to cosplay someone before really but I'd love to give that a go.
