Hazem sighs, shakes his head thoroughly, and takes a deep breath, forcing himself out of his depression, "BUT! that's probably not something you really care about! OH! Wanna see a trick?!"

If I can make a request to all applicants, both current and future;
Can you state very concisely what role(s) you're applying for? The roles are:
Tank (you're the guardian, the damage absorber, the meat shield)
Ranged/Melee damage dealer (you're the one churning out the numbers that make the peoples fall down, either with application of <insert weapon here> to face, or through the power of <insert source of power here>)
Support (you aid your members in combat and out of with debilitating and supporting spells and effects)
Healer (you heal the party's wounds and take care of their ailments and illnesses)
Face (you speak and lie in favour of the group)
Extra (you do everything, though not as well as everybody else)I hope this isn't too much of a hassle, this is more so I can properly evaluate what applications go well with each other so I can create a balanced party.
I see Saarah as a combination of Ranged damage dealer and Support and possibly Face(though there are plenty of others to fill this role).

Here's the sheet for Yantur "the Sly", Halfling Wizard.
I'm rewriting the backstory since I didn't originally conceive of him as starting the AP as a slave via the Earning Your Freedom LoF Campaign trait. Ideally, I'd like him to already know one of the PC's who would be the one who vouched for Yantur to be part of the expedition. Except with that person and others he knows well, his attitude is likely to be fairly reserved until he actually earns his freedom.
As a Wizard, Role can vary just by changing a few spell selections but since he's an Abjurer I would generally view him as Support/Extra/Damage or even Extra/Support/Damage as he has at least some bonus in many skills. I see him as staying as a Wizard but if the group lacks a skill-monkey I wouldn't be opposed to multi-classing into Rogue and going the Arcane Trickster route.

Lathrat's Roles as Follows:
Without Eidolon - Support (through Summoned Monsters) / Face
Fused With Eidolon - Melee Damage Dealer / Tank
Lathrat is a follower of
While meditating under the desert sun Lathrat felt as though a bolt of fire struck him from the heavens, manifesting itself as his Synthesist eidolon. He felt as though Korada himself had reached out and touched him, marking him for something more. After consulting with the monastic leaders, he has set forth as a missionary to preach Korada's ways.
Due to his early life being sheltered, he is still unwise to the ways of the world and concepts such as deception and duplicity. Has boundless optimism and an eternal patience when not fused with his eidolon. He is finding that when he is fused with his eidolon he is capable of much greater feats of physical exertion, and the influence of the eidolon adds a harder more violent side to his personality.
Little known to poor Lathrat, it was not Korada that reached out to mark him, but an Efreet seeking a way to escape to the mortal plane. Through some unknown fashion, the efreet was instead bound and trapped to serve as the eidolon for Lathrat.

As promised, here's the background for Khasul al-Rasad, the Magus of the Blazing Gales (self-appointed title, not official at all!).
I'd be welcome to addend to my background if anyone wishes to pair up - as stated, he's from Kelmarane originally, and does seek to return!
About twenty years ago, the city of Kelmarane experienced a tragedy. That tragedy set a family at odds for survival, the likes of which were desperate to cling to life as their newborn son had been in their home over the past year. The mother, in all forms wise and intelligent, could usher the child away – but the father would have to stay to try and hold on.
Needless to say, that effort was not successful.
In the harsh desert, one can only make do with what you are given. The mother had noted her spark of arcane potential in her child, though nowhere near as strong as hers. Her name was Aatara, and though she was still young, she had plenty of skills through her life before marriage – namely, that of being a courtesan. She managed to acquire a home in the Inner City, relatively close to the Oasis within – and her new employer just a few buildings down.
For years she used her pay to save up a funding, a savings for her son, Khasul al-Rasad - a name made to hide their true name from suspecting gnolls, or worse – where upon his ninth birthday, she had hired a client who possessed arcane powers similar to the boy’s. He began instruction in swordsmanship during the day, and educated during the early evening in arcana, history, and related wonders of higher learning. For this, he was paid in personal services while he was in town. There were times when the teacher himself, Khalid being his name, acted questionably, but said nothing of it.
Not seven years later, a long-term commitment had come to an end. He said that Khasul ‘needed to find his own path’ now, that he had only paved the way for his prestigious pupil. After all was said and done between Khalid and Aatara, they had split ways, leaving her with her funds and a precious scimitar to her son. With the money she had saved, he was sent to an academy in the city proper, where he learned more about arcane magic and how to elicit faster castings – and on the side, he practiced further with the scimitar Khalid had left him as a parting present. This schedule continued for years yet to come.
It was about this time Khasul began to grow curious on the religion in the area, and wandered into a temple of Sarenrae. It was here that worshippers of the Dawnflower made him curious, and he took the time to listen to their tales, to the stories of her glorious mercy, and could only find he was attracted to the faith – though more as a hobby than a lifestyle. He prayed to her often for protection from the sun above, so that travel outside of the city in the future would be easier and not unbearable.
When his mother died, Khasul had been the ripe age of twenty. In her last will and testament, she sold off most of her possessions, and left him a case holding a blade of impeccable quality, a relic owned by his father. Surely the talent was in his blood deeper than he could have guessed, and the message inside led him to the truth – that his father was massacred in cold blood, and the town was annihilated. With heat burning deep inside, he felt such dishonor from the mere thought of such a thing, and immediately looked for the nearest caravan out of Katapesh – for he sought to reclaim the town, and perhaps bring to it new glory, so such an event may never occur again.

Since applications have slowed down rather heftily, I'll be closing recruitment in 24 hours from now - that is, at 20:00 GMT+1.
Any applicants that want to join but don't have the time to make a character until that point don't have to worry. If you post before 20:00 tomorrow, stating a desire to join, I will wait with selecting applicants until after you've made characters and can present your sheet or concept. Any applicants posting afterwards, however, will not be eligible.
EDIT: Also, Jimmy and Khasud al-Rasad, I couldn't find your campaign traits anywhere. Can you please state them?

Noting Hazeem's slip, and figuring that it was simply the man's inability to master the intricacies of the common tongue, Badi speaks up with, "The man said dung, not tongue. Using camel's tongue to start a fire would not only not work, but it would be inhumane to the poor camel as well. Now if you would prefer not to touch camel excrement. Might I suggest you procur some firepowder." Taking a pouch of black powder from his belt, he mixes the powder with the fine sand at his feet before taking a step back. Within moments, it flares to life, creating a fire that matches Assan's magically created one.

Magical Lineage (Shocking Grasp)

Those are my current traits - I even contemplated taking an Additional Traits feat, just for more depth.
EDIT: Removed my twisting of that statement. Felt it wasn't entirely appropriate. Apologies in turn.

In the meantime, Yantur is entranced by the conversation going on around him. So entranced that it hasn't occured to him to say anything himself. Also, he's hoping that someone will say something that will cause the conversation to suddenly make sense to him.

I found the AP treatment of Haleen to be kind of boring but its meant to be something adjustable based on the characters. If you end up with a party full of people searching for her you might like to change things around.

I wonder if Mr. Patcher will consider running two copies of this path simultaneously, given how many prospective adventurers we have here...
