Hey everyone,
I'm intesrested in DMing the ROTRL AP. While I already run two Campaigns on these boards, I think I got time for a third one.
I'd like dedicated players that are at least able to post once per day and notice me if they're absent.
Also I'd like you to take a look at my DMing style by checking my other campaigns (I hate to see people dropping out after a week or so).
For character creation: Allowed is every official Pathfinder release I own (obviously for easier reference). (Which is everything until "Halflings of Golarion").
Character creation method is 4D6-drop lowest- X6 - free allocation.
Two traits for everyone.
Come up with a good and interesting concept and at least appear to be a commited player and you got good chances :-)
Since I'm looking for 5 players and one spot is already occupied, there is place for four players.
Questions left?

If you are looking for a PBP with an evocative and committed GM who puts in the hard yards, and who is happy to provide not only the 'hack n smash' in abundance, but also allow you to develop a fully fledged character then this is a campaign for you.
Tends to be fast paced, and tends to be loads of fun.
Dont wait guys, this will fill fast - click the GM's profile and look back through the post history.

I'd also recommend to read the ROTRL players guide and and think about a reason for your character to be in Sandpoint (native, traveller, merchant, on holiday etc.).
Btw. Harry is the one character who already has a slot. So, think about what else, besides a rogue, would fit well in the campaign.
I'd recommend something like this for a party line-up:
Rogue (Harry)
Melee Character
Arcane Spellcaster
Cleric
Face
I know, pretty generic...nevertheless, don't hesitate to apply for your alchemist/oracle/witch...whatever :-)

I'd like to try a half-orc ranger.
4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 5) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 1, 1) = 8 = 7
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 2) = 19 = 17
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 5, 4) = 15 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 1, 6) = 16 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 4) = 15 = 14
Concept so far: Kanyk was born to a woman of the Shriikirri-Quah, the result of an attack by one of orc raiding parties out of Belkzen. It was the good fortune of being born to the most peaceful and accepting tribe of the Shoanti that allowed him to live and he was raised with the other children of the tribe. Kanyk was raised to ignore and play down his orcish heritage but as he grew the signs grew stronger and stronger. Eventually he chose to leave the tribe for fear that his orcish appearance would bring trouble to his family and tribe. He travelled south west and made a living in the churlwood, hunting game and collecting pelts to trade in the nearby towns and villages.
After building up a fair amount of spare coin Kanyk hitched a ride to Sandpoint as a caravan guard and has been there for a while now. Supplementing his income as a guard or by hunting in the surrounding plains (if that is actually possible, might all be farmland for all I know).
Not finished with the rough background but just posted it because I know how fast PbPs fill up.
Oh and I guess I'd be applying for the melee spot.
UMPTEENTH EDIT: After reading Heavy Harry's profile I could see the two Halforcs getting either getting along like a house on fire, of course that might not necessarily be a good thing.

I'd like to enter my barbarian, just need to adjust skills and add a trait.
Bruaz
I'll pick a Quah for hit to have belonged to, just need to look nthrough them again.

I'd like to join this. Not a huge fan of stat rolling, but...well, sometimes we have to make sacrifices.
Not sure what char to make, but I'm flexible.
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 4, 1) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 1) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 4, 2) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 3) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 5) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 5, 6) = 17
Well, not horrendously exciting...

Don't think I can make a good character with that lineup.

Thank goodness... am reading through the player's guide right now to get a feel for the culture.
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 3, 6) = 19
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 5) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 5, 6) = 15

4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 4, 1) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 5) = 18
That's better.

Very rounded stats...will come up with something quickly, let me review the others and see what gap needs to be filled.
Edit: Am thinking half-elf witch.

I'm thinking about making a cleric.
Basic vanilla cleric. ^_~
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 5) = 22
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 1) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 1) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 4, 1) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 6, 5) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 3, 2) = 12
That's a 17, 17, 14, 14, 10, 10.
Looks good.
Human, Chelaxian. (Do we also add the racial bonuses to the scores?)
I'll have to look through the book to find a god, but I'll be visiting for the festival.
More later, but I wanted to put in my bid.

Come in spinner....
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4, 5) = 19 - 15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 1) = 15 - 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 1) = 10 - 9
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 6, 4) = 21 - 17
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 1) = 8 - 7
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 6) = 18 - 14
Oooh - this could be interesting... will ruminate on the possibilities and post again when I have a stronger idea of how to mould this.
randall793
I'll see what the dice has in store..
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 2, 4) = 134d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6, 1) = 164d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 2, 2) = 64d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 6, 4) = 174d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2, 6) = 174d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 4) = 13 Nope, 2nd set.
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 2, 5) = 164d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 5, 1) = 114d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 2) = 134d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 5) = 164d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 3) = 74d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 3, 2) = 11 Nope, 3rd set.
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 3) = 154d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 4) = 194d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 1) = 114d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 1) = 154d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 3) = 144d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 4) = 12 = 75, using 3rd set for
12, 15, 10, 14, 13, 11
Background
Male Chaotic Good Half-Elf Bard
Jolin Farstride's been traveling from coastal town to coastal town in search of material for the epic masterpiece he believes he'll create someday. Right now he's just disembarked after playing (and working) his way at his current destination where he's looking to rest and hopefully busker his way looking for material to inspire.

When are you closing apps? I might be interested but I need a bit of time as I am going to be doing a bit of running around today :)
Just in case, here are my rolls:
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 1) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 3) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 5, 4) = 19
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 4) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 5, 6) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4, 3) = 14
So thats...
9
12
15
11
13
12
Which adds up to... 72. So I get a reroll. Lets try again!
Attempt 2:
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 1) = 9
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 4) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 5) = 20
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 3) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 2, 5) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 5, 6) = 16
That gives:
8
13
17
10
10
15
Thats a bit better, but still only 73! REROLL!
Attempt 3:
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2, 1) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 5, 6) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 4) = 8
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 1) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 2) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 5, 2) = 13
Ok this time its:
11
16
7
9
11
12
Gives a total of: 66. REALLY DICE?!
4th Time Maybe?!
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 1) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4, 2) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 1) = 6
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 2) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 6) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 1) = 18
Alright, this gives:
15
14
5
10
14
17
Gives a total of...75 on the nose. You gotta be joking me. Do I dare play a character with a 5...
I DO DARE! Ok I will be back in a bit with concept and history.
EDIT: Going to do a Half Orc Oracle of Bones, with the Wasting Disease curse. He is gonna have a 5 strength (god help me).
Starting Wealth Roll: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) = 5 x10 = 50GP. Really I am gonna be a broke mofo. Thats fine I guess!
DM Zyren/ Heart of Runes
I wonder what Stompinators character will look like^^ If he makes it, someone has to carry his equipment for him...
@ Nieve: Good work, I like your character concept, has some generic aspects, but overall good flavour.
Edit: I'd like you to make your profiles look like Harry's...quite good for easy DM reference....not that I'd peek into your sheets, but...
Gerlick the Broken
Here is Stompinators character: Gerlick the Broken, Oracle of Bones and Cursed by the Gods!
Please have someone help me carry my stuff? My poor little orc can only carry 50lbs at MOST. And thats his HEAVY load...
I can't even WEAR ARMOR without instantly going into Medium load *cries*
I actually kinda want to play this guy REALLY badly now for the challenge.
Backstory is in the Profile let me know whatcha think :)
TarkXT
Right, I'll toss my hat into the ring sometime tonight. I'll go ahead and roll stats for now so I can think of what I want to play later when i come home from work.
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 3, 2) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 2) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 2, 2) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 2, 6) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 1, 1) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 4) = 12
Well ouch. Well that's 63 so let me get that reroll as suggested.
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 4, 5) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 4) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 5, 2) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 4, 1) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 3, 4) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 3, 4) = 16
Thank god. Right brb later.

@ Gerlick:
Oracle background stories are always soo said...*looks teary-eyed at the sheet*.
Nevertheless, very good and absolutely a character to consider. By now no one else has applied for the healer's slot.
@ Nieve: Sorry for that-it hasn't to be done now. But for later it's much more convenient to view some things on first sight.
Raziel Holhiem
I've put together a background, finally. (Typing it takes all the time, and I changed it a few times also).
Most of my stats are done, they'll be finished later today.
By now no one else has applied for the healer's slot.
I'm a little hurt that my application as a cleric was overlooked, but that's life I guess.

Hehe, healer is about what he is good for. That and pronouncing DOOM on his foes in a very verbose and detailed way.
Thanks. You said you were choosing tomorrow night right?
DM Stompinator
DM Stompinator, I bow to your character. If I do lose out to you, I know the better character won.
On the other hand, as DM Zyren said, the more the merrier. Hope we both make it.
Eh if I get in hopefully she will keep you in back as an Alternate. I have no idea how long someone like Gerlick will last :P
Sides, your character is pretty cool too :) I just go with what the stats gave me :P
TarkXT
Oh and I dont want to hear any of you complain about your stat rolls :P
I made someone with a 5 STR. You can deal with a low roll hehe
That's fine. I'm sure we'll hear plenty from your crippled broken self when you get hit by your first ray of enfeeblement. :P
While I'm here I do have a bit of time to explain.
I've decided to take one of my current characters and stat out a younger version of his father. The character in question is in carrion crown looking for him. I wouldn't mind whatsoever if we got this particular character developed in an earlier AP. And I do love my legacy characters...probably why I like the Flash so much.
Wealth roll:
5d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 6, 1, 2) = 19
x10 = 190gp

Oh most likely haha. Or he will just grit his teeth and deal with it. He is more of a no nonsense sort of guy haha. Gruff, stern, unbending, and powered by I guess negative / necromatic energy :P
