I'd post a really thought provoking, drawn out message here for your birthday Freehold, but I put it up on your Facebook page instead.
:P
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is for part 1 Ha! I already knew that.
Now if you told me Joss Whedon was directing it, then I'd cry. I am waiting for the Avengers, before I shed a tear on that account. I might have to go get a hunting license if it is not any good.

Vacation temporarily on hold as we sit at a Honda Dealership in Homestead, FL while they diagnose a check engine light that just came on. It's been 2.5 hours now I am growing concerned.
Division Christmas Party was awesome. Excellent food as always.

Doesn't a Duke outrank a Lord? ;P

Oh, and I wished FHDM a happy birthday on his FaceBook page. I also pasted a nice birthday pic of Lady Gaga for him there.

Ok, they reprogrammed the valves and we made it as far as Key Largo and all is well. Thanks for well wishes.

I just got mine for Christmas and it is freakin' sweet! Actually I was looking at that earlier....unfortunately the financial situation looks unpromising. May be months before I get a new computer. :(
But I'm glad that you are enjoying your new computer. That's an awesome Christmas present. :)

583 new posts, this is going to take me a while to catch up ...
I saw 174 and decided not to bother. :)
lynora wrote: Time to start looking up how expensive it's going to be to get a new computer... Boo! On the bright side, I found prices quite reasonable. Less than what I paid four years ago for a lesser machine. I think tablets are becoming the standard, but what do I know? I'm still waiting for my Manfred Macx-type computer googles.
Happy Birthday FHDM!!!!!
Congrats Moorluck and Solnes on the Duke news!
Positive waves Tordek! May the gremlins flee from your conveyance!
Happy Solstice everyone!

Crimson Jester wrote: Planning on a new game. The players are all old D&D 2, VtM and GURPS players.
All will be new to pathfinder, and the one player who I have the most contact with is a big anti adventure path person who prefers heavy sandbox games. One of the players is a rules lawyer who hated gurps and bogged down the combat till they were tired of that game.
Let see how well this plays out. I am thinking of Crimson Throne and just not saying a damned thing about it being an AP. I have the Korvosa booklet so I could do it very sandboxish. I am not sure that they would know the difference.
Our group is currently playing CotCT in a somewhat sand-boxy style, at least in parts (and also our GM kind of threw out the plot as written at some point and introduced a whole bunch of other stuff).
I post our campaign journals here if you are in the mood for some (hopefully) inspirational reading. I think we leave the rails in about the second or third session and only come back to them on brief occasions.

I was thinking more along the lines of some of t.A.T.u.'s Russian videos. ;)
I too could get behind them. That. Whatever.
Good to hear your various bits of good news E7.
Crimson Jester wrote: just waking up...office Christmas party last night. Jello shots.. Karaoke.. bowling with loud music the lights off and black lights playing... go carts on and indoor track... young ladies in skin tight jeans and high heels to look at... Not a bad night.
Sounds way more fun than my office Christmas party.
.
That's all I got right now.

Ooh, good reminder. I need to make sugar cookie dough tomorrow or it won't have enough time to set. I'm planning to make Christmas cookies with the kidlet on Friday since it's his first day of break. Star Wars cookies, of course. Because nothing says Christmas like Death Star cookies. :)
Moorluck wrote: Spanky the Leprechaun wrote: 15 minutes til cookies done marker. Cookies?
<Homer Drool.> Umm...
And it reminds me I was supposed to pick up the stuff for our gingerbread house. Crap.
I had a red velvet cupcake.
So, is RPG Superstar 2012 going to be the Year of the FAWTLies?

** spoiler omitted ** Yeah, there's the reason we get along.
Lynora, I'm sorry to hear of your computer troubles. That really sucks.
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!!!!
Moorluck wrote: And it reminds me I was supposed to pick up the stuff for our gingerbread house. Crap. We stopped making gingerbread houses about the time the kidlet started asking if we could make a gingerbread AT-AT instead....My gingerbread assembling skills were barely enough to manage houses. I managed to make a gingerbread train the one year, but that was the absolute upper limit of what I can manage. :)
