My thoughts are with you and your mother and family. Here is to an amazing 3 years if not more of life to the fullest.Yup. And we also got some bad news today. My mom-in-law had a meeting with her oncologist today. She's been fighting lung cancer the last year. Today they told her that if she goes back on chemo then she'll have 5 years, without it they give her only 3 more years to live. She has decided not to take the chemo and live her possible 3 years to the fullest.So that was an incredibly long 11 hour shift.11 hours?That's what I get for skimming the past 4-5 pages.

Of course, priorty mail back to the States (7-10 days) cost me about $75 for both boxes.
Ah, yes, I remember doing this. I mailed it back slow, since I was mailing every bit of my life I couldn't throw away or pack into two suitcases to myself in the States.
It ended up being mostly manga. And yeah, that hurt the ol' pocketbook.
I want to finish up my manga collections, but I also want to wait until the exchange rate isn't freaking less than 80 yen per dollar. :(

Thanks all! I'm waiting to hear on my counteroffer (for more money), but I plan on accepting it either way. It's doing work very similar to what I was doing in Rochester (401k administration), and is in a downtown LA highrise. I'm pretty excited about it.
It was the interview I just had on Friday, so I'm impressed they came back to me so quickly.
