Please don't kill the System applet within Control Panel...please don't do it...
I know the vast majority of you don't care or have never even seen the screen. There's a few of us around here whose jobs will be made much more difficult.

since people have been talking about corona stories. I randomly Caught this one. Apparently a neo-nazi was trying to blow up a hospital full of corona virus patients. The FBI caught him and apparently he died from injuries sustained while he was being captured. That is a crazy story and yet somehow hasn't made it to the big news. let's ya know how crazy things are right now.

You expect me to believe it's really trying to put itself through college?

Why did the chicken cross the Mobius strip? To get to the same side.

I'm not a huge geek, but this is one of the *many* reasons I've resisted moving on from Win7 Why couldn't they just keep, y'know, a nice solid user-friendly system going, y'know? to Win10 NEVER trust an even-numbered Windows OS

I honestly do believe that, overall, for the user, Win 10 is laid out better than Win 7. But for the pros and other people that actually know their way around the Win 7 Control Panel, the Win 10 Settings is simply worse. And most of the time the Advanced button on any single Win 10 Settings screen is just going to take you to the Win 7 version anyway.

Unfortunately, Superman can't fight Dracula this evening. He won't go near the crypt tonight.
I think a read a comic where vampires were attacking superman. Their fangs are magic enough to go through superman's skin but his blood is basically liquid sunlight so soon as they get a taste POOF!

How many Freudian analysts does it take to change a light bulb? Two. One to change the bulb, and the other to hold the penis.
LADDER!
I MEANT LADDER!!
How many psychologists does it take to change a light bulb?
Just one but the light bulb has to want to change.
(my favorite psychology joke even tho it's not that funny.)

How many psychologists does it take to screw in a light bulb? 2, but you need a pretty big light bulb.

Me, curious, because I follow voice actors and wonder, to Google:
"Why does Bethesda use so few voice actors:"
Summary of my reading.
"Because it used to be even worse, so shut up and be grateful it's even this many ya ingrate."
Um, ok.
Look, I get it. Guys who can do talented VA cost money, but you're headquarters is in Atlanta, the #3 hotspot for acting in America, where unknowns will take s$#+ pay to get credit, and so why not drop minumum SAG rates on a bunch ot nobodies for NPC filler to keep from breaking immersion? 1000 nobodies would cost less than half the bank you all spent on big names like Patrick Stewart and Matthew Perry in the past.
Videogames aren't movies. Nobody grabs a copy of Dragon Age because of a celebrity name on the cover.

The REAL answer IMO - casting directors are the laziest people in entertainment. The most immersion breaking moment in Terminator 5, for example, isn't "rushing to the time machine AFTER someone got in it" or "robot AI takes over the world" - it's the idea that Khaliisi and a male model had a son who looks like John C Reilly's twin - lazy lazy LAZY casting director. They're lazy in every industry. It must be the Hollywood equivalent of HR - the easy job you give your f!#& up cousin who needs a check at your company.

Not that I distrust you, Vid, but at this point it's so hard to tell truth from fiction with stuff like this that source is better than sorry.

I think the rise of Critical Role is going to cause that to change.

One of my strongest reasons for "sub over dub" is exactly this: U.S. directors have an incredibly strong tendency to go for name recognition over voice timbre or just plain talent.
95% of the time, if I see a name I recognize doing the voice on an animated film, I simply boycott the film because I know they're going to do a crap job.
Disney frequently surprises me (I didn't want to see Aladdin because Robin Williams was doing a voice in it, but hoo boy did he prove me wrong), but other than that, if there's a big name American actor doing a voice in an animated film, that actor's very likely going to be crap.

and its why I have apassion for watching german dubbed movies.
because its often SO BAD it turns everything into comedy.
