The BBC's run an article titled 'George Lucas loses the Clone Wars'.

The BBC wrote:
A prop designer who made the original Stormtrooper helmets for Star Wars has won his copyright battle with director George Lucas over his right to sell replicas. The five-year saga, which ended in the highest court in the land, has stakes of galactic proportions...

Apparently a UK court has decided that stormtrooper helmets and armour do not constitute 'sculptures' (and thus are not works of art), and therefore George Lucas' copyright on them only runs to fifteen years and has now expired.

Wheretofore it is perfectly legal for the UK manufacturer of the original stormtrooper gear to make more of it and sell it for profit.

I saw the article earlier, but missed the title. Cute. :)

HOT. Hot. Too damn hot.

However, Urizen's thought process still disturbs me from time to time.

As long as Urizen didn't masturbate with it, I'm interested in trying it.

AWRIGHT FOLKS!!!!

I'm heading out for OTAKON!!!

Will post erratically as the weekend and phone service allows. Will have pics up by the end of the day. Peter S. Beagle of Last Unicorn fare and Nobuo Uematsu, composer of many of Final Fantasy's greatest songs, are the two guests that people here might recognize. I'm definitely interested in hearing Baltimore's Orchestra do some of Uematsu's works.

Here's PRAYING I'm able to drive there without a problem...

Peter Beagle can write. I also read a werewolf story he did about a woman back before everybody was doing that and it was smart and original.
