Used book stores are great. Although lately I've been sticking to ebooks. Not always free, but often quite inexpensive. And I'm out of storage space for actual books.

Exactly why does it always take forever and a day to put away a bin full of Legos? I know, I know. It was a rhetorical question. Kidlet is driving me insane because I have to stand there and watch him or his pace slows to glacial. He was supposed to be ready for bed by now. Guess I should have had him start the picking up a bit sooner.

I would love a Nook. But I do so love the feel of a Book. The smells, and sounds. Ahhhhh.... But I know what you mean about space. We tossed/gave away a ton of our things including the shelves, so now we are down to just teh two book shelves.

But Huzzaah! On Read has teh Dresden series! I'll be good to go for a month or so! :)

They do? Just the first few books or past say the sixth one? It's just these books they're getting awfully expensive. I can't believe I bought six of them. But they're so good. And the library never has any of them in. Cause of course everybody wants to read them...

Read it! Read it! The Vorkosigan Saga is some of the best sci fi out there.

(Sometimes I don't know if I want to grow up to be Cordelia, or if I want to do her. Either way, it would be a win. :)

There is something pretty freaking hilarious about a group of Egyptians and Israelis, sitting uncomfortably around a table, singing, "...your daddy's rich/and your ma is good-lookin'."

Cj, I am sorry to hear of the trouble you're having and pray it eventually turns around for you. To answer your earlier question, I don't drive very often because I don't have a car. But it was surprisingly quite a fun drive!

Solnes, it is soooooo good to have you back even if it is only for a few moments. Please give your hubby my regards, and your job the back of your hand. You have been an excellent employee, and if they can't be appreciative, they need a smack!

My wife is a few hours away from my parents house. Driving from Killeen, TX to Springfield, OH with a stop in OK is a long trip in two days. I'd hope the dog isn't driving her crazy, but I get the feeling the cat may be the more annoying beast yowling in her carrier.
