The General has a collection of questionable cookbooks, mostly self published by various church or knitting clubs, although really, anything from the late sixties through the early eighties will do.
So, she was reading the kids recipe titles and Tiny T-Rex came up with his new favorite saying, that he now uses for everything.
"I think my brain is going to barf!"

He didn't just pull a Loki... he IS Loki. The game is Smite. Where all the characters are the various deities of the many old earth pantheons.

One of my fellow HEMAists works for a local council and managed to arrange for us to visit the museum out of hours to look at the swords. It was ace - there were a lot of sabres, a couple of cutlasses, a smallsword, a broadsword, a khandar (colossal great Indian broadsword), a katar/punch dagger, and a bunch of other things. It was ace.
Then we went to the pub. Then, I went to a Goth club to watch my friend's techno/Black Metal band, but didn't stay past the end of his set.

Captain Yesterday's Questionable Recipes Story Hour.
Today's selection comes to us from the Better Homes And Gardens Meat Stretcher Cook Book. This book will be featured often.

Fill cups with egg mixture. Set in shallow baking pan on oven rack. Pour hot water into pan one inch deep. Bake at 325° til knife inserted off center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes. Nice. Overlooked the anime because it didn't interest me at the time. Now I'll have to look into it. After I get my Debit card issue resolved. As for Smite, any idea which platforms it runs on?

You guys.
I went over to my mom's house because there was a box she said that came from Paizo.
I didn't remember ordering anything from Paizo, so I didn't pay it any special attention, other than to note that this seemed to be an unsually large box for the usual end of year "thanks for buying stuff" thing they normally send. I noted there was a label on it that had been half torn off, so I didn't realize it was the box from Paizo until not too long ago when I had tons of stuff in my living room I was going through to clean up a bit.
Someone, probably the person who got me all the wonderful PDFs, also got me THE FREAKING COMBAT TIER FAMILY PACK

Bless you, Anon, for the joy you bring to the Freehold.
Does that mean FHDM will be too freaking about the gifts that we'll see temperatures getting better higher?
Or is the Anon also responsible for the low-low temperatures for Freehold?
When I have to close window and suffocate on thickening air because it's too cold outside, then it is definitely too cold!

Software? No, perhaps.
But the stuff that houses that software and the stuff that powers that stuff...
That and we don't know the cause of the outage yet either.
Could have been anything. The OS deciding that it was tired and telling the server to go "stuff it," a hard drive failure, or even a janitor plugging a sweeper in the wrong outlet. This last one actually happened to me. In the mid-'90s, I was a janitor in a small building. There was an outlet near the Fire Alarm Control Box. The sweeper would send a spike into the box whenever it was turned on, and trigger a false alarm.

I've been back in California since last night, but I just returned to San Francisco an hour ago. Now that I've had some time to think it over, I'm going to call it. The best attraction of my entire visit to England was The Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth. Never been blown off my feet by a museum like that before. I went down to Portsmouth to see the HMS Victory, but the Mary Rose completely stole the show.

As a teen I always considered Luke my least favorite Star Wars main character.
As an adult, I would say Mark Hamill is on his way to becoming a national treasure (audio link).
